I am also worried that this could be the beginning of the end as the loss of a main character often is. Losing Cuddy will be very different from losing a member of the team. If it is indeed the beginning of the end I hope the show ends with grace rather than killing itself like other shows (namely The Office - which I love - they never should have tried to continue without Michael!)

Cuddy is no my fav, but I love Lisa E. Huddies are now experiencing what I(as Hameron) feel about JMO. I feel sorry for them. Honestly. I know what I felt with JMO. I would not wish this on anyone. I don 't want to celebrate the misfortunes of others.
Some anti-huddies made ​​some inappropriate comments on twitter. I apologize for them.

House is the best show in the world and the other actors deserve recognition.

I'm definitely going to miss Cuddy, but it at least helps with the bitterness to remember that at least it was her choice (I'm way more bitter when people actually get fired). And it is all but confirmed that season eight is going to be the last season anyway. All I can say is that she sure as hell better appear in the series finale. She's too important not to.

This is gonna be really bad for house. I think they might kill her character to puch him all the way over the edge

house is done. period. cuddy was the only person who could truly control him. wilson would try but house only REALLY change his character for cuddy. cuddy was his world. she was the only one who could keep him from doing stupid things but still knew when it was appropriate to say yes. that's why nobody, not even cameron, could do her job. she was also the only one who wouldn't fire him and kept the department running. without her, house would be out of a career. she did so much to cover for him and no other dean of medicine would do that kind of thing for a person like house. if cuddy is gone, his career, the team, his life, the whole show crumbles. you can take people off of the team but you can't break the top 3 players. It's like red, blue, and yellow. they are the primary characters that create the others. without them, there is no show. without one, you can't make all the colors and the rainbow is incomplete. they will always hold eachother together and be the baseline of the series. take one away, and you are left with nothing. the show is crumbling. they can attempt to pick up the peices and try t put it together but the show is still broken and no matter how good the writting is, there will still be cracks. I hope they find a way to bring her back, otherwise, there will be no rainbow, only a dark, endless storm. (plus, no cuddy no rachel D,X)

I mean, the show is such a crap right now, that I'm glad she doesn't want to be a part of it. It should have finished after s. 6, but unfortunately all creators care about is money.
BUT. There is no point in countinuing the show without her, either. Dear creators of the show, I feel sorry for you. You have just shooted into your own knees.
