Cameron had dismissed the nurse after she had finished suturing all of Ace’s wounds. She felt like she should be the one to finish cleaning Emrys off. Even though the young woman hadn’t been working at the hospital long, Cameron had formed a kind of bond with her. She almost felt like a big sister figure to Ace, at least she had. Cameron felt like not only had the hospital just 迷失 a great doctor, but that a lot of the staff here had just 迷失 a great person and friend.

ON AN ALARM CLOCK - as the numbers 移动 from 6:29 to 6:30 AM, an ALARM goes off. A hand reaches in, switches it off.

REVEAL CUDDY, having just woken up. She rolls over, looking to the other pillow. To her surprise...She's alone in bed.

CUDDY(puzzled, calls out)House?

No answer. Cuddy looks towards the bathroom -- the light's off, no sign of activity.
