+ Did 你 know that Hugh has a passion for motorbikes? He started riding when he was ten and has been for 30 years. He can handle a bike pretty well and says that he's a better rider than he is a driver because he rides more. When he realised House was a success the first thing he did was buy a new bike, a replica of a classic sixties bike, a Triumph Bonneville and believes it is one of the greatest bikes of all time.
He prefers the Triumph to a Harley davidson because; "Harleys are slow, expensive, can't corner and don't stop very well. They look like a 商店 window of Harrods' at Christmas."
He's also not a big 粉丝 of the way Californians drive, he says in a 最近的 interview; "They have big cars here and they are the most pathetic motorists I have ever come across any where in the world without exception. Last saturday I went driving with my wife, Jo. We were on the road for 90 分钟 and we saw three accidents. The third was a man who'd turned his car over onto his roof driving along DEAD STRAIGHT road. How did he manage that?! In 伦敦 你 could drive for a 年 and probably wouldn't see three accidents."
