-Backstory: Her mother was a pirate so she spent her life on the sea. When her mother's ship was sunk by the Royal Navy she was found, brought aboard and was taken in by the Master and Commander. She has been the helmsmen of H.M.S Surprise for two tours.

"See anything Corporal?" The man whispers into the ear of the ship's lookout, a Thomas Gallard. "No, no such... Mast... I see sails!" He calls out the last bit, turning towards the officer in fear. "It's the French and their heading right towards us..."

I hear a corporal shout that the French are nearing and I grip the wheel tighter.

"Sir, the French are here"
The Master at Arms looks to the boy then order the men.
"Ya heard the kid, the French are here, ready the cannons, ready the guns and wait for orders" With that Robert ascend to the deck, grabbing his scope to watch for the enemy. "Any orders Mr Benadict? Cannons are being ready as we speak and the wind is calm, until Lord Poseidon changes it"

Clement~

"Aye Lad, wake your Captain!" I order a sailor as I descend to the main deck of the ship. "We hold a half sail, and prepare to defend against borders, where's Liz? Tell her to get her to take us to port."

He nods and head towards the helm "Take us to port Liz, we're going to fight"

"Aye, to port." I confirm the order and turn the wheel. "Where's the Cap'n?" I shout at the 1st Officer.

Clement~

"Ah dun't know! Dammit, I'll get em!" I grumble, taking the liberty to head straight into the Captain's quarters un-invited. "Sir we have... French... Ships..." I turn away, trying not to look. "Clement, what have I told you about knocking!" He shouts, slipping out of bed to get some clothes on. "Sir... The French are on their way, they'll be on in a lick of time!"

-Rank: a noble lady of France but is now unfortunately a prisoner aboard an English vessel

-Personality: a spitfire if there ever was one, she uses frankly vulgar language towards her captors despite it being unladylike, sassy, cool and at times bratty. But beneath the grit and grime of her newly developed attitude is a strong, in dependant and composed young lady

-Appearance: she seemed to have inherited nothing from her father except her inky black waves of hair and love for precious stones and metal working. She is tall and willowy with slender cheek bones and wide pale blue eyes

-Weapon: (Limited to two; example: Cutlass and flintlock pistol) she learned to fence when living in the luxury of Paris, therefore a slender blade or dagger would be the weapon of her choice

-Attire: simple tea gowns and frocks now that she is held captive

-Nationality: French

-Years of Service: has been prisoner for little more than eight weeks

-Backstory: Marie Louise was born into a family of nobles, her father a highly decorated French naval officer and duke and her mother an Austrian heiress. Hephaestus found her mother intriguing as she reminded him greatly of his own wife Aphrodite... And nine months later the Lady Demarquette bore her precious gem Marie. Hephaestus had no part in Marie Louise's life and to this day the young girl believes the duke is her true father.
After living years in the halls of the palace of Versailles and among other nobles, fencing, dining, wining and attending great parties, her father decided they move to his Villa on the island Corsica. Distraught by the news Marie and her Mother reluctantly agreed.
But disaster struck soon after they left for the island, her father's ship was commandeered by the British, her father and mother had somehow managed to escape but the young heiress was therefore taken for compensation. Now Marie waits anxiously for her father to rescue her, little does she know it may never happen.

(Since the H.M.S Surprise is a true bred English vessel, we're gonna need to put you on an unknown ship that will meet with the Surprise soon. So go ahead and post, I'll do story with you.)

"You know nothing of hardships,lass." An old Irish fish wife squawked at Marie as she peeled potatoes below deck with the help of the cook. Her slender fingers were cut deep by the knives, she'd never peeled a potato before this, she had never needed to. She took a moment to glare up at the fish wife while hacking away miserably about the muddy brown skin of the putrid round vegetable.
"La bouche est aussi sure que votre cuisine vous vieille chèvre." The French maiden hissed and tossed the starchy vegtable into the pot. She had refused to speak English the entire voyage, simply to frustrate the uncultured swine that were her captors.
"Wha' did you say?" The fishwife snarled, outraged with the snarky little brat as she always was. Her hand came down across Marie's cheek swiftly and sharply, the crack of skin against skin ringing out in the cabin. "Wha' did you say!"
The lady remained still before tossing the knife at the post beside the woman's head.
" Laid, sordide, vieille chèvre vile!" She exclaimed, fuming now as she threw the pot of water on the nasty old goat and dashed up the stairs to the main deck, open sea awaiting her as she prepared herself to leap over the edge for she could take no more of this.

Clement~

"I'll be up in a moment Clem, just do your damn job!" The British Officer snaps, just before I storm out of his cabin and onto the deck. I let out a sigh and stride over to the wheel and point towards the western direction. "Another ship... Are those English stripes?"

"Alright you rank bitch! That's enough outta you!" The captain of the small vessel growled as her wrap a thick arm around her waist just as she was about to throw herself over the edge into the chill waters and perhaps swim her way home or more than likely frown before the English could get their grubby hands on her again.
"laissez-moi partir! laissez-moi partir!" The lady shrieked and desperately wriggled in his arms.
"Put her back below deck!" He snapped as he tossed eer to another sailor before he managed to toss her back into the small dingy cabin beside the makeshift kitchen.
"Aye! Cap'n! English colours flying! Just ahead!" Another sailor called and waved his meaty hands about.

Clement~

"Quick, make haste in that direction." I tell Liz, the Master of the Helm. After some time the ships finally met side-by-side. "Whoa there, I am Clement Benadict, First Officer of the H.M.S Surprise, I wish to speak with your Captain!"

-Backstory: His step- father was recruited when he was a 6, so his step-father took him aboard and made him his apprentice. Since then, he's always been fascinated by the food more than the plundering and gore. His step-father always said, "Pirates need food to fight."

"Bloody hell," I mumbled as the the blade from my gully came in contact with my skin.

"Speaking," the captain huffed gruffly as he stood straight backed and regal, despite her ruffled hair and wiry beard,"what's your business here ?"

Clement~

"... Your flying our Lord's colors, so your gonna fight with us and drive those french warships into the deep." I order, glancing over my shoulder towards the incoming vessels.

"This ain't no warship, just carrying supplies and a prisoner of the Royal Navy." He answered gruffly, though he was reluctant to fight he supposed he had no choice in the matter with this sailor ranker far higher than him.

Clement~

"Robert, you have the ship." I tell the Master at Arms before stepping onto the main deck of the Surprise. "Chester, take two men and accompany me aboard that vessel." I nod and motion for his men to arm themselves. "Keep those guns trained on the nearest French vessel." I tell Robert before I made my way onto the vessel. "This Frigate will serve as a decoy, I want all your unnecessary cargo removed and any fighters you've got, on my ship."

"As you command." He nodded sourly also extremely uneager to give up what little crew he had left as well as his only prisoner.
"You heard the man!" The captain shouted at his gangly and misshapen crew, "and up the French pig!" He snarled before he was answered with a chorus of,"Aye!"


Marie Louise~
"It's your lucky day pig, your about to board one of the finest vessels in the English navy." The grimy oaf of a sailor snickered as he tugged me from my cabin roughly, his hand gripping my slender upper arm so tightly it was sure to bruise.
"porcine navale, de l'écume de la terre." I hissed in my native tongue and spat on his foot before he had dragged me up the stairs and tossed me to the feet of an unfamiliar officer dressed in the prim blue uniform of the Royal Navy.

Clement~

"What crimes hath she committed?" I ask, kneeling in front of the French Woman.

Marie Louise~
I lifted my chin and stared boldly into the eyes of my newest captor, an icy hatred burned within my Iris' and beneath my skin for the English and so, without much hesitation or thought, I spat in his eye.
"I have committed no crimes you unintelligent cretin." I snarled, speaking English for the first time since my capture. A look of annoyance crossed each sailor and captain's face and this brought a wicked smile to my lips.

Clement~

I stood and wiped my eye, before turning towards the Captain. "Need I repeat myself, Captain?" My voice was stern, yet I showed no anger towards the woman.

He fumbled for words before clearing his throat and straightening himself once more. "She was found aboard a French vessel sailing through English waters. Trespassing is her crime I suppose."

Clement~

"... Very well." I conclude, turning towards one of the Marines. "See to it that this lady is treated as a guest, take her to the cook and see that she is fed... She is not to leave your sight, am I clear?" The young soldier nods and escorts the lady onto the Surprise to be given a meal.

"Now Captain, I'm going to leave Sergeant Chester here to see that you follow my lead. You will take your ship and go right up their flank, bearing the colors of white. You will make it look as though we were travelling together and chose to surrender."

Again the captain nodded and barked orders, deckhands and sailors scrambling about to do as told.

Marie Louise~
I grunted irritably as I was pushed to my feet and taken into the custody of the second crew that had boarded. They now meant to lead me aboard their skip as I understood it and it seemed that the duration of time I would spend on this vessel would not be so dreary.

Clement~

"Good luck." I tell the Captain before following the Soldier and the Lady he was escorting onto the Surprise.

[Marie's Post]

"Right this way, our cook will prepare you a bowl of this morning's soup." The soldier tells the French woman, taking her below deck to the chef.

Marie Louise~

"Anything would be better than sour potatoes and day old fish fry." I scoffed and pushed back a stray lock of inky black hair that had stuck to my cheek with sea spray. "si ces porcs ne savait vraiment comment faire cuire ils seraient français.." I snorted to myself as I was taken down below decks once more. This seemed to be a common reoccurrence no matter where I was taken.

[Marie's Post]

"What was that?" The young man asks, taking her past the storage area to the kitchen.

Nothing else came to my mind at the moment, not a quick retort or snarky reply so I relied on the childish,"None of your buisness."

Robert continues watching the French ship, alert for any movement, any fire of a cannon.
"What will be the plan sir?" he asks Clement Benadict.

Clement~

"That ship is gonna provide us a distraction, we move in right in-between the two french ships slowly, then light them the hell up, simple really." I respond towards Robert, cracking a smile.
