Why would I want to talk like a snake when I can change anything about myself whenever I want? :)

That was hard. Angi does have a point. But let me ask you this; why would I want to change myself to a duck when I can talk to any snake I want?

Personally I love snakes. When I was in high school, someone brought their Burmese python into school one day and I was one of only three people and the only girl in my class that was willing to hold it. lol

Still given the choice between parselmouth and metamorphmagus, I have to choose metamorphmagus, since parselmouths can only talk to snakes. If they could talk to any animal, the choice would be harder.

Btw, since twilightlover73 mentioned turning into a duck, I was wondering if someone could clear something up for me. I've always been under the impression that metamorphmagi could change certain physical features, like their hair, facial features, skin colour, even their height and build, but not actually completely transform their shape, like turning into an animal. Am I wrong?

A Metamorphmagi can take a wide variety of forms, changing gender, race, and age, potentially looking like anyone at all, or even just changing a part of their appearances, such as the shape of their noses while animagi is a witch/ wizard who can turn in to a animal

acklesgirl87, what I meant was not really turning into a duck. I mean like having some physical features like a duck. Like Tonks in this picture for example. She can turn her nose to look like a duck's beak right? Well that's what I mean

Matamorphmagus would be fun but i think being a parslemouth would come in more handy as far as practical situations.

Metamorphmagus would be useful for disguise, impersonating others etc. Parseltongue is only useful when there's a snake present.
