But there was Dumbledore in HP 1 and 2 , and in 3-6 ,not 4-6 , anyways just a minor mistake...

Richard Harris was more like what I imagined Dumbledore to be.

I think Richard Harris played Dumbledore right but Michael Gambeon changed him, he became loud and rough and that's not normal, everyday Dumbledore. GOF is a good example. As is OoTP when he yelled at the students. Dumbledore wouldn't do that.

i have a question ...if the 1st dumbldoor played in 1 and 2 and the 2nd played in 4-7 ...who played in the 3rd ?

I really miss him. He was the perfect Dumbledore to me!

He was much more whimsical, I guess. He was calmer, and played Dumbledore better than the one in 4-6.

He played a very good Dumbledore!

I think Richard was too frail for Dumbledore. True the almost killing Harry scene in GOF was OTT but still.

I couldn't imagine the 1st Dumbledore battling Voldemort at the Ministry of magic and being able to match him. He looked too frail and not as capable or powerful a wizard as the 2nd Dumbledore. That being said Michael Gambeon never quite captured the whole twinkling eyes look.
