《钢之炼金术师》 问题

问题 about greed help me please!!!

This is about Greed not greedling and can go for both the original and brotherhood. My 问题 is why did Greed want a suit of armor body like Alphonse's? I know he wanted immortality but i still don't get why he would want a body like that. My conclusion is that he must be completely obsessed. It's something that's been perplexing me idk why lol.
