belle is the most cultivated

By far. Belle isn't smart. All she does is read. Women of her era were expected to sing, play musical instruments and speak many languages.
Mulan is really smart. She picks up a fan and thinks of ways to defend herself AND spit out lucky crickets.

I don't think Mulan is not smart and I know I don't like Mulan much as Belle but Belle is smart is because takes care of her father and everything like and I agree with Belle better:)

Can someone please explain to me what Belle does to prove intelligence? I don't mean just smarts, I mean exceptional intelligence.

Belle is my favorite, but I think Mulan is the smartest Disney Princess.

Belle is definately smart. But, I feel as though a lot of people say so just for the fact that she reads a lot (which bothers me). Mulan, I believe, has done much more to prove herself of being the smartest.

This one was a no brainer.

although she's a bookworm, Belle can make some dumb decisions, like going into the West Wing. Mulan can be dumb too, but a little less so.
