they both are right, but having someone to share a success with, not just a husband but anyone, and not taking life so seriously like Tiana did is important.

I believe this is the moral, even the father makes a point about it, that his family was the most important to him, not his job or salary.

Tiana really had learn what was important to her. Yes, her dream was really important, but it was the only thing she was living for, I don't think she really knew how to live outside of her own world. Same thing with Naveen, he'd never been outside of "I'm the most wealthy, good looking thing in the world so I can do whatever I want," so he learned what was important too.

Working hard for what your dreams is just dandy, but that doesn't mean you should exclude friends and family from your life, which are what truly matters in life.

That's basically the message I got. So, really, both of these are correct. But I'll stick with this one since it's actually said in the film. C:

They pretty much say it about 5 times in the film as if the story wasn't enough to show this point off.
It ultimately shows that you should both work hard, but should never lose sight of what's really important - love, fulfilling your dreams, and having a bit of fun once in a while.
