Because, I just don't see them being that close.... I never felt that "their love was convincing" based on what they did together on screen. His was more fleshed out for reasoning, but not hers.

Also, I'll never find a relationship that begins with abuse to be very romantic at all.

Second place would be Poca and John, because the sequel was the indication.

The others are okay. For instance, more magic carpet rides and opportunities to make out... for Jas and Al. More carriage rides, and exploring of towns, neighborhoods, or taking a boat out on the sea together...places Ariel and Eric in quite close proximity. Based on how attached Aurora and Phillip got in a matter of hours, I don't see them fading out so quick. The prince was adamant about finding Cinderella, so I'm not sure he'd want to then not spend time with her... Eugene and Punzie do all kinds of crafts, and ride horses, and do contests in the TV series, so that's a slam dunk. Tiana and Naveen clean up and renovate a whole building, and then set up a business, so they are right up close and personal. And Mulan and Shang just have a crush on one another at the end. It's not exactly love for them, yet. But there is not enough in the movie for me to say that they wouldn't spend more time together. Them getting to know each other better outside of being in the military was already in the works... because the Emperor himself was nudging that in the direction it was going... Snow White and the Prince got separated, but that separation did not impede their fervent thoughts. So, like Phillip and Aurora, they wouldn't fade out, either. Distance and difficulties didn't make their love lessened.

So my picks would be Belle and Adam and Poca and John.

For me Mulan and Shang and John Smith and Poca about Belle and Adam what with Belle magical world, the enchanted christmas and their comics all shows how they romance and friendship grow and beast is not abusive or Belle does not have stockholm syndrom Wavesurf.

^ I don't know where you got the idea, that the beast was not abusive. Adam definitely is abusive, before he changes. And in the other movies/sequels, he was also abusive ( forbidding all sorts of stuff, including Christmas for crying out loud, and yelling at Belle) and so forth.

I don't have the answers you seek. I don't agree with Stockholm syndrome, but I don't find Adam and Belle an example of a healthy cartoon romantic relationship, either. The best romantic partners in the DP lineup imo are Jas and Al, Eric and Ariel, and Eugene and Punzie, because each is fleshed out a great deal... and their romance doesn't start with the male protagonist locking up the female lead in a house/castle/building.

I think aladdin lies too much to jasmine i like them but in my opinion they are not one of the most healthy Disney couple but i agree with everything else great explanation and i agree about belle and the beast
