It's 1) an unusual, memorable shade, 2) it is not a super curly frizz mess like mine and Merida's is, nor is it ramrod straight, 3) it is styleable up or down, takes hair clips without a fuss, can be braided, and doesn't have bumper curls on the ends, 4) it is not outrageously long, making Ariel look top-heavy, and 5) it doesn't have this fake looking sheen like the 3D Disney hair tends to have.
