Jasmine is anything but passive, whereas Cinderella is (unfairly) criticized for serving her stepfamily for so long. Also, Jasmine made the (foolish) decision of leaving her "bad" situation, while Cinderella stayed until she was offered a way out.

^ Agreed. Also Jasmine is very rude and inconsiderate of others whereas Cinderella is incredibly poised and not rude even when she has more of a reason to be. Jasmine is not humble at all but Cinderella is incredibly humble.
