Im not a fan of the thick look, but its always great to see a variety

I have no problem with a "curvy" Disney princess, but Chel's figure is basically the same the same hourglass figure as the rest of the DPs but with slightly wider hips.

Eh, I'm more focused on Disney creating quality movies with good characters.

Not just Chel specifically; a wider variety of body types would be nice! I always thought dreamworks made beautiful women but still kept the character designs pretty diverse.

I'd be even more interested to see Disney try a heroine with Chel's personality/motivation... you know, someone who isn't really a good person, who becomes a heroine only at the end of the story. (Even with Meg they had to give her some kind of noble motive for what she did.) At first Chel is just straight up willing to scam and deceive for her own gain.

I don't see much difference. she's a slim pear shape like Jasmine and slightly thick on the hips like Merida. but her figure is already similar to Katrina's and Tinkerbell's.

and yeah, I'd rather focus on the personalities. body diversity is fine but I think people forget almost none of the princesses have the same figure.

^ I dunno, she's got some pretty thick legs too and she's really short. (Probably the shortest CAMH who isn't like a fairy or an elf or something) Other Disney characters may look like her, but there definitely there aren't any DPs who do.

My hips and thighs are pretty wide, and I'd like to see some more body diversity. Big Hero 6 was a start, as Gogo, Honey Lemon, and Cass all have pretty different bodies, but I think Atlantis: The Lost Empire did a great job with that, too. A princess would be even cooler.

Body diversity is definetely good.
I don't Chel personality though. Even Meg is more virtuous and sympathetic.
