People tend to think she's just a good role model or a "positive discrimination" Native American stereotype, which is not fair to her.

Agree with pretty much everyone. She doesn't get as much appreciation and love as she deserves.

Especially in real life.

Although I get why she wouldn't be people's cup of tea, being mopey and being unable to make decisions. I feel like she gets praised for being an environmentalist and anti-discriminatory more than her interesting personality and facets of her character.

Definitely All I ever hear is people saying she's, "boring" which I don't see. I mean it's okay if she's not people cup if tea, but she's sadly pushed over. IMO she is the perfect mix of flawed but a good role model at the same time. Before I even knew she was so underrated I just couldn't keep my eyes off of her. I just found her so amazing.

Severely and criminally underrated. Pocahontas is a wonderful character, and her movie is a cinematic masterpiece.

She's the most underrated princess. I love her a lot.
