By now, of course I have accepted the way I look and know that there are things more important than worrying about that so no, my self-esteem isn't all that bad but it is pretty low. I don't think I'm ugly but I really wonder why some guys like me, especially since I can't help but feel like most of them are too good for me. I'm vain but I have low self-esteem, what a wonderful mixture! *sarcasm*

Also, some guys are really harsh when I hear them talk about a girl, some stuff are so mean I think I would cry if they said that about me. Stuff like ''She is ugleh, which imbecile would sleep with that? And without protection.'' :/

Btw if you pick that you are confident with your looks, that's a good thing. I feel like some people view it as being cocky but it's 2 different things.

Well I am not that "pretty one" but I never cared of it as I am not so sassy and I don't do make up and all because I feel I don't need to do all that to impress someone. If a guy likes me he should like me the way I am, I am not gonna change or do anything different which I don't like.

My elder sis is very pretty and I sometimes feel like people mock (my aunt) at me because of that but I have learned to face the truth and I can't change my look right? No one can. So I am confident and that's it. I think dimitri you should listen to those craps who don't have their humanity with them, they are just dumps who haven't got brains and always think about those girly girls. Their thinking is just a limited to them.

Beautiful or ugly? That's who I am. :) So just be confident. Don't do plastic surgery for sure XD Make-ups still tolerated. Though I think people who wear make-ups to make their self prettier are not confident with their look. But only to enhance their beauty for camera? That's fine for me ^_^

Well I do wear belly shirts, see through shirts, and mini dresses out in public but I wouldn't say I am confident with my appearance. But I most certainly don't have low self esteem. I just see it as everyone has the same thing it just varies from person to person.

No offense, but this poll implies that self-esteem and looks are one and the same. That you either feel confident in the way you look and are therefore confident about everything, or feel bad about the way you look and therefore have low self-esteem in everything.

What if you have low-self esteem but it has nothing to do with the way you look? What if it's because of your intelligence, personality, social skills, accomplishments, etc? What if you feel confident about the way you look but still have a low sense of self-worth?

Both the polls apply to me. I know I'm pretty (just as Mulan knows she's pretty), but I feel low in everything else (who I am just as Mulan feels inadequate with who she is inside).
