I added this option because I’m very introverted but I don’t think I’m shy at all. By that I mean I enjoy being alone and I would prefer being by myself then with a group of people, but when I am with other people I can be very outgoing and loud If I want.
I guess that could also go with somewhere in the middle.

Painfully so, and almost vengefully so. I seriously hate talking to people, but people seriously hate talking to me so it all balances out. I've been told more times than I can count that I 'talk like a precocious twit.'

I'm loud and crazy, but sometimes I'm so bashful... being shy is just a part of me that will never go away. Does that make sense? I'd probably be a nice person if I wasn't so shy...but I've ruined so many opportunities for myself, just being nervous and awkward.

Much so. I mean, with my family I'm not so - I'm rather larger-than-life, but with others, in school? Totally introverted and shy.

I can relate to Audrey and Jungle! I hate being called shy, but I'm in denial. I'm shy and I'd do anything to change it. I can be bold/ out there if I want to, but...Most of the time, awkwardness holds me back.

with my friends i'm the one initiating the conversations and keeping it moving but with others i'd rather not talk or socialize because i'm so awkward around people i don't know, i'm surprised i have friends, i like hanging with extroverts but relate more to introverts. i don't really like being social though. what a little contradiction i am

I used to be more introverted and shy, and I still am if I don't know someone well. If I know you then I'm usually more talkative. Ever since graduating high school and starting college/working I've come out of my shell quite a bit. I'm still not super loud or outgoing though.

Not so much on here but in real life, definitely.

I like being introverted but I wish I was less shy/awkward.
