Ariel's or Rapunzel's. Ariel's is probably the worst on here, but Rapunzel is bad on Facebook. But Ariel's fans just don't really seem to accept bad things about her and are very biased (pot calling the kettle black, I know.)

belle has awful fans (no offense to any nice fans here) but Mulan's annoy me the most!!
they're usually the ones saying the old princesses are boring useless doormats who do nothing but bake pies and wait to get rescued, which doesnt even make sense..
i hate how belle fans act like shes super feminist, smart and independent when really she is not that different from the old ones either, she gets rescued even more actually, twice and she is also really proper.

and Belle's. Belle's fanbase is obnoxious. Merida's fanbase (including Brenda Chapman and Mark Andrews, the directors of Brave) are sooo super obnoxious!!!! I'm too am sick at how people go on how smart Belle is just because she turned down Gaston (handsome jerk) for Beast. Previous princesses wouldn't do the same. While I'm glad that Belle chose Beast instead of Gaston, I have a hard time believing that the other princesses would fall for Gaston.
Why I find Merida's fanbase to be super obnoxious? Well, I'm so sick and so freaking tired of them (even the directors) going on and on and on and on non-stop at how she's the only princess that doesn't have a love interest, has a mother, and or defies tradition! Ugh! Merida's not that different from the old ones, either! She's like Ariel mixed with Mulan! She brought nothing new to the table! Also, the movie failed to give us a clear reason why Merida doesn't want to get married. Saying, "I want ma freedom!" doesn't mean anything. Freedom from what? Commitment? Chores? Children? What?

I try to see the good in others so I don't really have an opinion on this poll.

Looks like Belle fans seem to be getting a lot of flack. Belle is my favorite, and I'm sorry if I've ever seemed preachy or insane when talking about her! If I did I didn't mean to and didn't realize I was doing it at the time. I'll try to be more careful in the future.

^Awww, I hope I didn't make you feel bad. I wasn't thinking of you actually. I don't think ALL her fans are bad. You guys here for the most part tend to be OK or really nice. It's pretty much everywhere else they're mean and in-your-face.

Fahmad- I've always said that too- that Belle doesn't do anything the others wouldn't also have done! Especially Jasmine, who we actually see turning down a bad suitor as well.

And I totally agree about the Brave makers. I disliked reading their interviews and stuff. Brenda acts obnoxious about Merida, like she was her own Self-Insert character or something. She isn't new, and just like you said, she's like Mulan and Ariel (but way less nice than either, especially Mulan). Adventurous free spirits have been around since the Silent Era. And I also agree about her comment. In fact the whole movie was very vague about ANY of the messages. One message is "follow your heart" (Merida's). the other is "put your people first" (Elinor). these messages completely contradict each other.

Merida's fans are also annoying on FB.

I've seen very few people on here that annoy me, and I'm not on any other DP fansites so I didn't even realize this was an issue haha.

GreatLance_30- Yeah, I've really gotta question that, Snow White has a very small fanbase and most of them are very nice. Sure they can tend to be biased to her and have her near the top in everything, but when you get down to it, so do many of us- I sure know I do.
I hate to say this, but a lot of non-Fanpop Mulan fans are obnoxious and make me embarrassed to be one of them.

Snow White fans are lovely. They may love her the most - because she is their favourite - but the fans I know are always really nice and accepting of the other princesses and of other peoples opinions.
Ariel fans are pretty defensive about Ariel, but almost all of them (that I know) are really nice about it. Most Belle fans are also really nice, but there are some that go RARA;LSDFSFH;SN and start 'Caps-Locking' and totally hating on you if you slightly critizise Belle :/ In my own personal experience, anyway.

They are one of the reasons to why Ariel is my least favorite princess, but they're calmer than they where when I wrote my first article, back then people went insane because I critizised her, but I still think most of her fans are annoying

Most of them have their obnoxious fans...well, perhaps with the exception of Aurora...I think that's an interesting difference, Ariel fans always try to defend everything she does (this frankly puzzles me, because her flaws make her such an interesting character, so why insisting that they don't exist?), Aurora's fans are more: Well, we know she could have used some screentime, but we love her anyway because we like what we saw in the time she got.
Though Merida is a very special case, by not having obnoxious fans but above all obnoxious creators.

I dont know about Sweetie but I love everything about Snow white too. That's why I'm a fan of her. Don't you have Belle as your favorite DP/voice/prettiest too?

I usually see SW fans here and outside like all of the DPs generally, except sometimes Ariel or Merida. they're probably the easiest to talk to.

There aren't really any bad Ariel fans on this site but on other websites they drive me crazy. Most of them don't even acknowledge her mistakes and just like her because she's a mermaid.

At the moment definitely Merida´s fans, also Belle´s and sometimes Rapunzel´s.

If any group them because some of them get super defensive of her, but that's often more my experience with some Ariel fans in general rather than the ones on Fanpop. But I don't really find anyone annoying =).

Ugh, Ariel fans are the worst (not on here though). On YouTube, review sites, Facebook, etc. they are extremely defensive, and will attack you if you say one thing wrong about Ariel. WTH. They are creepily obsessive with her. I have read some extremely harsh things that those fans have said to others.

I would have to say Belle and Merida fans are next. They act like these two are superior over the rest, when they are just like the others. They do not a knowledge the flaws in these two, and like them for superfici reasons. They are also creepily obsessive (not on here though).

Merida and Rapunzel's fanbase for putting them on a pedestal as the " First pro-female Princesses" - thats a bunch of Bullshit. Ariel was the first pro-female princess, she stood up for what she believed in, and didn't let others stand in the way of her dream. Belle didn't care that she was different and didnt give in and be " Gaston's little wife" all the Princesses Ariel on are pro-female. So I am so sick of Rapunzel's directors, and Brenda Chapman thinking they created the first.

I disagree...ALL princesses are pro-female if you see them in context of the time when they were made....and the honor for the first princess who is kick-ass AND has character development, well, this honor belongs to Mulan.

I agree with rhythmicmagic. Most of them are think Ariel is always superior. I don't have problem with other princesses fans, but dunno why I often had bad experience with some Ariel's fanatic fans.

there's also this trend with film reviewers/critics/whatever being massive belle stans and using her as a yardstick to measure how feminist or progressive the DPs, and even animated women in general, are. (*side-eyes nostalgia critic*)
