Do you mean critically or by popularity? Because critically would be Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs.

^ Box office does not come much into the most successful. All that means is that a lo of people saw it. Whether they like it or not is a whole nother thing (Chicken Little)

Judged by popularity...Snow White was financially the most sucessful, and also critically. Sleeping Beauty though can claim some fame for it's unique animation. I think all the classic movies have a lot going for them, none of them can be considered a failure.

Maybe I'm being biased because I hate Cinderella, but I think this one is really well-remembered and Snow White has several honors at Disneyland (her well by the castle, her ride)

I think Cinderella (character) is slightly more successful than Snow White (character).

But I think SW and the Seven Dwarfs movie is more successful than Cinderella's movie.

I think Cinderella is more appealing to the general audience.
