One thing I've noticed about Ariel, is that she gets a lot of praise and detest for her hair. The big clump of red, flowing hair is absolutely beautiful to me; but everyone calls it unrealistic.

I have seen every 迪士尼 princess movie known to exist (the sequels are an exception), and during all my time of watching I noticed a couple patterns.
For instance, a princess`s hair color most often tells what kind of person they are:

Brown- the artistic type, who often gets 迷失 in 图书 and has a number of hobbies.
·Belle
·Repunzel

Blonde- with Elsa and Repunzel as the only exceptions, these princesses are an 图标 of beauty and nothing else. Their only goal in life is to marry Prince charming and are the reason 更多 feminist icons, like Merida from 《勇敢传说》 need to be created.

A classic, and usually considered the most iconic 迪士尼 Princess Movie. Well, it sure didn't do too well in this countdown, and a lot of the users placed it in their bottom three, 或者 even last.
