After a hectic few weeks of travelling, working and illness I decided to take a duvet 日 for my self and had little to do, so I thought in celebration of the theme of this 月 being 迪士尼 Princess Couples I should do an 文章 detailing the 9 couples in order of how much I like them. Like every detail in my life I find things very hard to decide on, so please bare with me while I make what seems to be the difficult decision in my life.
9. The Iconic Couple
灰姑娘 individually is pretty high on my rankings for my favourite princess, however I really dislike her relationship with Charming. I like the whole iconic 爱情 story of "rags to riches" with the story ending with a marriage and happily ever after, however it’s the shallowness of their relation that annoys me the most. The main point that annoys me about them is that, if 灰姑娘 wasn't so beautiful and kitted out in such a gorgeous ball gown, Prince Charming wouldn't of noticed her (like he arrogantly ignored the other girls) and she would of carried on her life as usual. Of course this is neglecting the point that this is the fairy tale 爱情 story. I adore 灰姑娘 but its the shallow, spoiled Prince Charming that has dragged her to the bottom of my rankings.
8. The Gender Confused Couple
I quite like this couple; however they are low on my rankings because their relationship was just an additional mention to the story. We don't see all that much of a romantic connection between the two (probably because of the 交叉, 十字架 dressing). I would of actually preferred the film if 花木兰 was left single at the end, because with the relationship with Shang I am 给 the feeling that the fact she got a man was the triumph rather than the fact she just saved her entire country.
7. The Interracial Couple
I 爱情 the film Pocahontas and as a princess I like her alot as well, John Smith however, I hate. I like their forbiddon love, reminiscant of Romeo & Juliet and the fact that despite all the prejudices they still managed to fall in love. After 写作 that short piece this couple have grown on me a lot. Their relationship is also pretty steamy, 更多 so than any other couple and the fact they don't end up together in the end makes the film that little bit better for me, giving a sense that not all 爱情 stories end with happily ever after. Additionally I'm a big 粉丝 of "If I Never Knew You" and the parts within the film associated with the Spinning 《绿箭侠》 pointing at Smith and the choices Pocahontas has to make. I also have to admit that despite the sequel being REALLY shit I like John Rolfe a little bit 更多 than Smith........Don't hurt me.
6. The Hot Couple
The relationship between these two I always found interesting. When I stepped back and looked at their relationship as a whole, they both fell in 爱情 very quickly, almost on par with the likes of 灰姑娘 & Charming. If it wasn't for "A Whole New World" I don't think I'd like this couple at all. Its strange in the way that 阿拉丁 is my favourite prince, I like 茉莉, 茉莉花 a lot as well, however as a couple I'm not so convinced. I like their 爱情 for one another, their challenges to be together and the fact it is a Princess falling for a 街, 街道 鼠, 大鼠 as well as loving the film as whole, however when compared to the other couples I seem to like them more. I would also like to point out that A Whole New World is easily my favourite couple song.
5. The Romantic Couple
"Once Upon A Dream"... 你 hear that are 你 are instantly transported to that quirky angular forest, accompanied 由 the most drop dead gorgeous 迪士尼 couple Aurora & Phillip. I recall somebody saying to me that even in their peasant clothes this couple look like royalty together, something I completely agree with. I would describe these beauts as being the most "Fairy Tale", their 爱情 for one another relies on the fact that they are in a fairy tale and this makes me 爱情 this couple to a massive extent. They both sing beautifully, they are both stunningly and consistently animated and out of all the couples, they seem to belong together the most. The whole 爱情 story and the couple is fantastic and each aspect of it is ideal, excluding the lack of screen time for Aurora, of which is the only thing that gets to me.
4. The Modern Couple
Despite Tiana being my current least favourite princess, I really like her as a couple with Naveen. I like the realistic sense that shines through all the time with this couple, a lot of the things that happen to them can be compared to with modern 日 relationships. My favourite scene with the two of them is where Naveen tries to propose to Tiana on the boat, he makes mistakes and becomes of clumsy oaf which for him was completely out of character. Another thing I liked was that they both had something to teach the other, Naveen teaching Tiana to have fun and Tiana teaching Naveen about work ethic, something that I thought was a nice touch.
3. The Classic Couple
The cutest 迪士尼 轿跑车 ever? Actually Bambi & Faline may be cuter.... Anyway, I have a big soft spot for this couple, yes we see little of them together, yes we don't see them actually talk to each other but we see that it is a cuddly fairy tale romance, there is warmth to them which is the big thing missing with Cinders & Charming. However lame this is going to sound, whenever I hear "One Song" I always feel a little melted, Its so classically romantic, with straight to the point lyrics. I think a main reason I like them is because they don’t actually speak to one another, the short time we see them together we are told everything we need to know just 由 the joyful way they act with one another. Out of all the couples, it is these two that I wish had 更多 screen time to be developed, but as I already mentioned in another article, Snow White's interactions with the Prince take the role of being book ends to the story, rather than being the back bone of the story like in a film such as Pocahontas for example.

Belle is my current favourite princess and I adore the film, it gives nostalgic warmth that I 爱情 to have if I'm feeling bad. As a couple I've always been undecided about these two, like many people I was disappointed at the appearance of the Prince in his human form and the whole violent relationship thing was another seed, however without the violence the story would simply not work. I watched the climactic scene last night and my 心 melted, when I was younger I didn't care so much because I knew that it would all end well, but it is such an emotional touching scene that I can now really appreciate. Another 随意 thing I like about this couple is the final dance, especially when they are spinning across a shot moments before "Do I still have to sleep in a cupboard?"

*Deep breath* I think I've finally decided on my favourite couple. The relationship between these two I find completely adorable and for the likes of a 迪士尼 fairy tale, pretty convincing as well. The 爱情 story of a young mermaid going after her crush at all costs sounds pretty lame but in action I fell in love. However already done in Sleeping Beauty, I like the fact Price Eric fell in 爱情 with the voice of his princess but most of all I 爱情 Ariel's stay in Eric's castle, their interactions with each other seem so convincing and realistic. Eric and Ariel’s clumsy but almost lucky antics, displayed unintentionally come across perfectly and remind us of Ariel’s fascination to the world she is in. Eric's attractivness, facial expressions and general sweet nature along with all I 爱情 about Ariel is a key reason aswell. The journey we see Ariel go through warms to the couple and the fact that Ariel is not only marrying her own Prince Charming but she is also marrying into a world that she has longed to be in also reinforces why these two are my favourite 迪士尼 Princess Couple.
