Okay, as promised! Here is the comparison both the 1998 animated feature as well as the 2020 live action reboot. Ready?

The Story

So we start of with the Invasion of the Huns in the animated film, as well as reporting the invasion to the Emperor. We see 花木兰 getting ready for the Matchmaker later on.
In the live action version, we see Mulan's childhood and even has a sister who is specially created for the film mainly for character developments. (tied)

The Characters

We get to see Mushu in the animated version, this is due to comic relief for the entire movie. He, Cri-Kee and Little Brother were not feature in the live-action reboot, however Cri-Kee takes the form of a phoenix instead. (Tied)
花木兰 are both motivated, headstrong and positive throughout the movie. But in the live-action, it takes some times for her to be herself! (2020 Reboot)
Bori Khan is actually 更多 vicious than Shan Yu and he even has 更多 screen time, despite that the latter is my favourite 迪士尼 Villain aside from Maleficent and Chernaborg. (2020 Reboot)
Mulan's parents remain the same, but her father at least has 更多 interaction in the reboot. (Tied)
We also get to see that the witch (her name slips out of mind), who manipulates the Emperor to challenge Bori Khan in a single combat. She betrays Khan in the end 由 sacrificing herself for Mulan! (1998)
Finally, Captain Shang reminds me of Captain Von Trapp in the animated version, in the live action reboot, both Commander Tung and Chen Honghui. (1998 version)

KataraLover Xianniang didn't manipulate the Emperor. That wasn't him. It was the witch in disguise. She has the power to shapeshift, though her favorite form to turn into is a hawk. And Cri-Kee makes an appearance as a HUMAN soldier named Cricket. Anyway, nice article.

I know this is kinda a weird countdown, but here ya go.

10. The Prince
I don't see him giving any wedgies at all. If anything, I think he'd be the one receiving them from everyone else.

9. Prince Charming
Just like with the Prince, I don't see Charming giving any wedgies. He might give the occasional wedgie, but only to the Prince.

8. Prince Phillip
This guy would give so many wedgies to the other two classic princes that it's not funny.

7. Shang
He doesn't always give wedgies, but when he does, 你 better believe that it'll being excruciatingly painful.

Mother Gothel: Villain 或者 Not?

Most of 你 who have just read the 标题 of this 文章 are probably thinking in your heads, "Yes," 或者 "oh hell yeah!" 或者 something like that. Well before 你 jump to that answer, hear me out. Last night, I had a dream that was related to the scene in 魔发奇缘 where Rapunzel confronts Gothel and while I was sleeping in, it got me thinking. Yes, what Gothel did to Rapunzel was wrong, but I'm not sure if she completely qualifies as a villain.....per say. Let me explain.
First of all, unlike the other 迪士尼 Villains (with the exception of Frollo) Gothel isn't really interested in world domination...

People have been doing these kinds of 文章 for their 最喜爱的 princesses lately, so I thought I’d do this for one of my 最喜爱的 characters from a DP movie. She is a character I feel is really underappreciated and gets a lot of unfair hate. 你 can read some of the negative things people have to say about her on milky-way’s link. Well, I'm not a huge 粉丝 of Tiana's clothes. Probably my 最喜爱的 outfit on her is her green dress in the forest wedding. The color is lovely and it has a pretty shape. Someone in the 迪士尼 merchandise department seems to have decided that Belle’s 花 is the rose – a decision I don’t really agree with. Yes, I know, the rose is featured very prominently in the movie. But it’s not really a symbol for Belle; it’s a symbol the need of the Beast to find true love. Which is, btw, the meaning of red roses: True Love. Seeing Belle as the rose, she would be symbolically under glass for the whole movie, and that doesn’t suit her character at all. The bad guy of the movie proves to be the least favourite character of most fanpoppers too. Not surprising, considering he isn't one of the most powerful villains in 迪士尼 history.
