Thank 你 to everyone who participated in Princess of the Month! For November we celebrated Belle, so here's an 文章 on why we adore her:
Belle is my 最喜爱的 princess, so I could wax eloquent concerning all the things I adore about her. In the interest of space, though, here is one thing I particularly 爱情 about her: her sense of self-worth. I don't feel like this is often talked about, but it's really inspiring to see her embrace her interests even in the face of constant ostracization from the townspeople. Everyone thinks she's weird and whispers behind her back, but despite this she knows it's not her personality that is the problem. Rather, she knows she just needs to find the right people who will accept her for who she is. I 爱情 this sense of self-confidence she has in herself. She doesn't let the bastards grind her down. ~MaidofOrleans
She is an avid reader. Since I also tended to walk down the 街, 街道 阅读 a book in the past that makes her very relatable to me. ~Swanpride
I 爱情 that she's not afraid to stand up for herself 或者 the people she loves, especially her "crazy old" father. Belle's relationship with Maurice is probably my 最喜爱的 thing about her; the townspeople mock Maurice because they think he's crazy and instead of being embarrased Belle defends her father from the very start and when he's locked up in Beast's dungeon she offers herself up to take his place even after seeing what the Beast looked like. I could go on and on about how much I 爱情 Belle and Maurice's relationship but I don't want to take up too much 太空 for the 文章 :P ~BB2010

After all the hype, merchandise and racial 辩论 The Princess and the Frog finally made it to the big screen, 果酱 packed with a variety of different aspects that where inspired 由 other media. However not one of my favourite princess films, I can appreciate it was a good attempt and can enjoy certain aspects of its story. Now lets look at the concoction of literature, 前一个 films and art stirred together in the Gumbo pot to make Disney's latest fairy tale.
