Both similarities between 真假公主 and 灰姑娘 is that they are both orphans, the only difference is that the latter has 2 wicked stepsisters and a wicked stepmother. They bully her for 24/7 由 making her household chores and forbids her from going to the ball!
As mentioned, like the 音乐 box, the glass slipper plays a symbolic role in this movie. The Prince uses it to find 灰姑娘 while Anya's grandmother uses the 音乐 box to look for her missing granddaughter.
