迪士尼公主 Article: Why I prefer Ariel over Belle

Ariel and Belle are the most beloved and 流行的迪士尼 princesses in Fanpop. To tell the truth, Belle has slightly 更多 fans. She is pretty, sure, but beautiful? Not likely. She has brown hair and hazel eyes (that's a charmer) but to me it looks quite plain. And she's pretty but she's TOTALLY ANAWARE OF IT? Really? Like she didn't see it when she looked in that mirror?
But Ariel was completely aware of it. She tried to be good-looking in front of her dream boy. Red hair and blue eyes are a lot prettier than brown hair and hazel eyes to me.
Belle reads (which is why people like her) and seeks for adventure, while Ariel fights for what she wants to get it. Sure, Belle does think of others first and Ariel is a bit selfish, but Belle also is TOO perfect. Nobody's perfect. At least Ariel made mistakes and we can relate to her.
So as 你 can see, this is why I prefer Ariel a lot 更多 than Belle.

Hum...ok I don't think that Belle is too perfect, but I get your argument :) And I liked what you said about Ariel who fight for what she wants, this is why I like her (although I like Belle much more than Ariel )

CaiWonderlander I find Belle a lot like me. Reading, romantic, hazel eyes....so, I think I like Belle better. But at least you wrote why. (I don't really like Ariel, she's just too perky) :)

MaidofOrleans Yes, Ariel is much prettier than Belle, but I prefer Belle as a character. I have a lot more in common with her, and I disagree about her being perfect. She goes back on her word and is also manipulative and snobbish.

TigerRanma @ CaiWonderlandet, Belle's eyes are a mix of gold and green. When I was little, I thought Belle's eyes were brown until I noticed some green in her eyes. This made me think that her eyes were green. But then I learned of the eye color called hazel. My mom has them, my brother has them, my favorite singer has them, and these two siblings I know all have hazel eyes, like Belle. Hazel eyes became my favorite eye color.

CaiWonderlander Oops. Sorry. I looked it up. You're right, but hazel isn't really a specific color. Thanks for telling me I was wrong.

CaiWonderlander Yeah I have bluish grey too. I wish I had green eyes though.

My Ranking of Villainous Sidekicks

As often as 迪士尼 princess sidekicks are talked about, it feels to me that the side characters of villainous role are often over-looked. So I wanted to write an 文章 talking about their characters and how evil were they. I have tried to rank them basis 3 primary traits: loyalty to main villain and evil plan, scale of meanness/evilness and their importance of role in 总体, 整体 story development. Since it's Veteran's Day, I thought I'd use some rare time off to write an article.
