Nonverbal Evaluation (Since it was a hit last time)
Alright, good news, bad news. Let's get the bad news over with first.
Elena's body is angled toward Stefan (I know 你 all moan, but it is true.) She also has Stefan's hand closer to her heart, but still not up at the breast which shows a disconnect there. It is quite possibly right above a very intimate part of the anatomy. So, I do not think we will see a sex scene between Damon and Elena 下一个 season. Just not there. Sorry guys. The closeness between them cannot be denied.
HOWEVER, her head is not turned toward Stefan. Not at all, rather the fact that we see one ear shows she is turned the other way (toward Damon). Her hold on Damon's thumb is also much tighter than on Stefan. Her fingers are folded while the other hand is a light hold. Her arm on Damon's side is also taunt which means that it take 更多 of an effort to hold Damon's hand (because of their positions) but she will not let go. While she is positioned toward Stefan, she has to tort her torso towards Damon to reach him (Her 心 actually turning away from Stefan and towards Damon).
I think this means that although Elena will not be completely letting go of Stefan 下一个 season, she will be much 更多 responsive to Damon than she has been. See how Damon's hand is open? He does not have to hold on tight. She is doing that for him. I think we will be seeing a Damon that no longer has to go the extra mile for Elena's attention. He already has it. See how relaxed Damon is? Stefan, it is a good think your fingers are tight. You're going to have to try to hang on to Elena with all you've got.
Oh! Almost forgot. See how one of Elena's feet is completely submerged under the water towards Damon. She is playing footsies... with his rib cage. Expect to see bantering between the two of them. Probably not at first (since it is submerged...) but later on in the season. Serious tension there.
Yeah Elena body language is 展示 that she is still with Stefan (no surprise) and he has a place in her 心 BUT she will not and cannot let go of her feelings for Damon. She is the one holding on to Damon and he is just relaxed. Her other hand is relaxed on her stomach and Stefan is the one holding on to HER. So Elena will be acknowledging 更多 of her true feelings for Damon in Season 3 , I think, but keeping Stefan as a safety net.. There will be a lot of Elena moving closer to Damon in Season 3, I think. That should happen because we all know Damon feelings and I don't think he will make any 移动 on Elena while Stefan is gone. Afte he comes back and they help him get back to normal, then maybe, especially if Elena is 展示 she has strong feelings for Damon.
