Well, homework was done and I was totally bored out of my mind. There was nothing on t.v and I was sitting on my 长椅, 沙发 thinking of what to do with Kayla tomorrow. This was happening until, my leg vibrated. I got a text from Eli, "Dude 你 gotta get over here fast!! It's urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That's my cue. I flew threw my room getting my shoes on and a black hoodie. I left a note for my folks, and I ran out of the door. I got into the slow elevator and listened to the jazzy 音乐 playing. I was alone one the elevator. Fine 由 me. "C'mon, c'mon." I 说 to the elevator while impatiently tapping my foot. "Finally." I 说 while running out of the elevator at 最佳, 返回页首 speed almost running over an old couple on the way. I pushed open the glass doors and sprinted into an alley. I came out the other side "surfing" on ice to get to the Rowe house the quickest. When they say it's urgent, they mean life 或者 death situation. Things were going well until, "Police, stop your... vehicle NOW." I heard on a megaphone. That's right, one block ahead was a police blockade, with cruisers and guns. But, I knew how to shake these bums. I immediately stopped and put my hands in the air. There was a news helicopter above us. Boy were they getting the scoop of the year. I was apprehended 由 an officer. He tried to handcuff me but they, "mysteriously" shattered. "Wha, how??" He was baffled. I ran into a nearby alley and two shots were fired. They totally missed, at least I hoped. My identity wasn't compromised because my 兜帽, 罩, 发动机罩 was still on amazingly.
I reached the end of the alley, it was a dead end, perfect. I bended an ice pillar under my feet to shoot me up and onto the roof of a building. It melted behind me. Two cops ran in two 秒 later, "Were'd he go??" One yelled. "I don't know Jim. But it sure is weird." The other one said. I ran on the roof trying to get away from my newsworthy prank.
I jumped down into another alley in a similar way on how I got up. I walled casualy to the Rowe house were everyone was on edge.
I rang the loud doorbell and Zach opened the door with a baby boy in his hands, Taylor I think his name was. Zach's face showed releaf, "She's this way." He gestured inside. I followed him. Almost everyone was sitting in silence in the family room, Aang was on the 长椅, 沙发 with a bandage on his head. Zach put Taylor in Mrs. Rowe's hand's she seemed to have been crying. Zach brought me to their spacious backyard were Kayla had her hand on Sydney who was out cold on the ground, 下一个 to a girl who was tied to a chair. I was in genuine shock. I didn't expect anything like this to happen. "I'll leave 你 to it." Zach 说 while going back inside, obviously picking up on my thoughts of what might this girl who was tied up, did to Sydney, and what I was thinking of doing.
"Hi, again Kayla." I 说 walking up to her on the ground. She nodded toward's me. I knelt down as well. "She is breathing, just... not responding." Kayla 说 sounding frustrated. I took some water from the now humid air, not wanting to damage the Rowe's perfectly green lawn, and went to work trying to heal Sydney. Nothing was broken, her conscious was just... somewhere else. "Kayla, could 你 go inside? I need to have a talk, with our visitor." I said. Kayla went inside without a word and looked scared as she closed the sliding door. I turned to the tied up girl, she was obviously scared.
I froze up a chair and I sat on it with my legs crossed. "Well," I started, "I didn't do anything to her. She just used the 阿凡达 State than passed out after bringing me here!" The girl said. That was easier than I thought it would be. "Kay then why'd 你 attack her and Aang?" I questioned while getting up. "I was sent to do it." She replied. "Who sent you." I asked. She didn't say. I started walking around her. I saw that the small kids were watching us from inside. I payed them no attention. "So 你 don't know 或者 你 won't tell me?" I continued, she didn't reply. I was in front of her now. I made an imaginary gun on my fingers and pointed it at her forehead. "You wanna tell me now?" I asked, with full seriousness. She just laughed. "What're 你 gonna do? Imaginary shoot me? HA!" she replied. My eyebrows shot up. I pointed the "gun" between her opened legs and shot the gun at the seat. An icicle shot and hit the chair exactly were I aimed. Her face showed signs of terror. "You wanna tell me now?!" I asked now pointing at her forehead. She formed words on her mouth but they didn't make noise. Until, "I can't...I swore I wouldn't." She blubbered out. "Swore what?" I 说 now getting aggravated. "I WON'T compromise the league!" She 说 almost yelling. "What?? The league?" Now thoroughly confused. "Ya better start giving some answers!! 或者 I might just start getting trigger happy!!" I yelled in her face. She started crying. "Please, please don't kill me!! I have a family!!!" She was cut off from sobs. I couldn't kill her, she was just doing her duty. I thought.
I released my fingers from her forehead, and walked behind her. She continued crying. I saw the kids from the sliding glass door, now asking Mrs. Rowe what was happening. She shooed them away. I melted my chair in front of the girl and formed water mitts around my hands. I pressed my hands against her temples and they glowed brightly. She stopped crying. I was transported to where she was fighting Aang and Sydney. Her story was plausible so far. And than she got to the house. Sydney did just faint. I returned from her memories, but she was still under my control. "Listen closely. I'm going to let 你 go. Your going to go back to your boss, and tell him. That 你 were knocked and they got away. You'll have no re-collection of what happened at this house 或者 with this family." I released her mind. And she immediately was back to normal. I untied her and she left without a word. I had no idea how I just did that I just had a feeling to do that. I guess that's what Aang meant 由 not an ordinary water bender.
I knelt beside Sydney and tried the same thing. Her consciounce was in a strange place. She was lying down on the ground when I saw her. "Sydney!" I yelled. She sat up immediately. "Wake up!!" I commanded. I was back in the backyard and Sydney was opening her eyes and moving again. "Wha? Micha.. did 你 save me?" I nodded. Everyone ran outside to see what happened. She answered little to no questions. And as I carried her bridal style to her 床, 床上 to rest, she was drifting back to sleep already. As I put her to 床, 床上 she whispered, "Thanks," before falling asleep. And that was reward enough knowing that I helped someone I cared about.
