Tears stung Aang's eyes as blood trickled out of his body. He was dying. 更多 importantly, he was going to be taken away from his one true love.
"K-katara," he choked, "I'm scared."
"No, Aang...you'll be fine," she said, but her voice was full of worry.
Aang was crying full-force now. "I...I don't think I'm going to make it!" he cried.
"Yes, 你 will," Katara said.
"Katara, I 爱情 you..." Aang 说 weakly. Then, his eyes closed, and his heartbeat and breathing stopped.
Katara knew she could't waste time crying. She knew that there was still hope for Aang...she just needed to find a healer.
Aang's eyes drifted open. The first thing he saw was another pair of tear-filed, blue eyes.
"Oh, Aang!" Katara cried joyfully. She hugged him gently.
He hugged back all he could, but his wounds prevened him from getting too romantic.
"I was afraid that you...died," Katara said.
"I...I did, Katara," Aang said. "Feel my heartbeat."
Katara put her hand to his chest. But it went right through him. She gasped.
"I'm sorry, Katara," Aang said. "But I died."
Katara shot up from her sleeping bag.
Aang heard her stir and sat up. "Are 你 okay?" he asked, his voice full of concern.
Katara smiled. "No, I'm okay," she said. "I'm just happy that you're alive."
Aang looked at her with confusion. But it soon turned into a look of desire as he and Katara leaned in and kissed.
When the broke apart, Aang asked with a giggle, "Okay, I know you're my girlfriend and all, but what was that for?"
"Oh, just because," Katara 说 with a smile.
Aang just stard at her, dumbfounded.
