My mom thinks 日本动漫 is demonic crap, well Naruto. I have no idea nor do I care. I'm gone keep doing what I'm doing, she's never even seen Naruto. I don't even think she knows what 日本动漫 is, she's very judgmental so I wasn't surprised. She needs to chill the fck out. My Dad on the other hand I'm pretty sure he'd get a bowl of 爆米花 want watch it with me, and fall sleep. xD He's a pretty cool down to earth person so, I don't really think he cares, he'd probably just thinks 日本动漫 is some 随意 cartoon.
Well, it's not my mother who hates it. She doesn't like it herself, but she's fine with my 爱情 of anime. My dad, on the other hand, hates anything that's in a language other than English and Italian, which I personally think is completely stupid of him. Whenever I'm watching a Vocaloid 音乐会 或者 日本动漫 he always gets mad and yells. He also hates that I crossplay a lot, but I don't really care what he thinks about it to be honest! I enjoy myself, and it's not a harmful hobby, so I don't really see the problem with liking 日本动漫 at all!
My Mother likes 日本动漫 such as Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura. 日本动漫 like 火影忍者 she hates and she disapproves of my brother and I watching it. She says 日本动漫 like that is too violent, I always found that to be rather hypocritical of her since she loves murder mystery 图书 and TV/movies and some of the ones she watches get pretty gruesome. She does 爱情 the fact that I am watching a 显示 in a foreign language since I am going to become a Linguist. She is very happy when I get 日本漫画 in the Japanese language as well.
Wow I didn't know there are parents who hate anime. I am lucky then because my patents don't mind me watching 日本动漫 because I heard from them they watched 日本动漫 when they were children called Voltes V (pic), I mean I ended up watching it myself when I was younger and didn't even know what 日本动漫 was till I was about 8 years old, I just watched 日本动漫 because I thought it was a cool cartoon LOL.

My dad too thinks its 随意 piece of non-sense and tells me to stop watching all that. But that's not gonna happen.Never! When I grow up, I land a career in the 日本动漫 industry of 日本 too and I'll fight against all odds to make it happen. Separating me from 日本动漫 is separating me from my life. my mom dosen't care whether I like it 或者 not,but each time someone knows a I'm liking a certain 日本动漫 that they don't know I like before,they seem a bit suprised as if they think that it's impossible for me to like 日本动漫 at all,but it's actually not...& the fact that my grandma thinks of why do I like animes with fighting a lot,but that ain't stopping me.I did wrote an 日本动漫 story with my friend,when I wrote my part,no one has objections.

My mom doesn't like it. I don't tell my dad anything 日本动漫 related cuz I'm sure he'll tell to quite it on anime. My mom isn't so sure if I should keep drawing 日本漫画 或者 not. She says this one is good. But 日本动漫 is crap. Honestly, that's offensive.
My parents don't really care what I do as long as I don't do anything that would be considered morally wrong in our family. Watch 18+ 电影院 and TV shows about demons and murder? Sure! As long as I tell them about the show.
My mom watches romance/shojo 日本动漫 and she doesn't mind me watching 日本动漫 that is gory 或者 so. I think she doesn't mind but I think my father mind. She still ask me to stop after 2 episode so I will.♥ Still, no reason to hate your mom because she hates anime. :)
My mom never was bothered 由 me watching anime. As for my dad will he insists on telling everyone that one of my interests involve watching "chinese" animation. He doesn't have anything against it at all. He is just not into it.
I'm not sure what my mother would think of anime. She might have actually liked it. She did watch a lot of psychological American shows, she might have really liked 日本动漫 like Death Note, Shiki, Hell Girl, and others XD My dad on the other hand doesn't mind though. He doesn't think much of it. He sees that it makes me happy watching it and that's all that matters.

But I was actually shocked when she watched one ep of attack on titan and a few ep of fairy tail but after that she doesn't watch it and she bring me down and she takes 日本动漫 too far in a bad way sooo yea my mom hates 日本动漫 but im happy 2 call myself a otaku and im proud
