"Did 你 just say Humphrey?" I asked amazed.

"Yeah why?" He asked confused.

I didn't say anything I just shook my head and ran to my father and hugged him with tears running down my face. With every step 或者 moment of standing I didn't care. My pain from never seeing my parents just washed away right in front of me.

"What are 你 doing bud?" Humphrey asked.

"You just made me the happiest 狼 on earth." I 说 drowning his 毛皮 in my tears 由 now. Humphrey obviously didn't know what to do because he was standing there with his paws in the air, "I am your son, Jason."

"Jason!" They both screamed. Humphrey finally realized why I was hugging him and wrapped his paws around me and began crying as Kate came to 加入 in on the hugging.

"I missed 你 Daddy and Mommy I missed you!" I yelled still crying. I let go of my father, whipped my tears from my face, and sat down. Mom and dad doing the same.

"Son what are 你 doing here?" mom asked.

"Well, I was told that Anna was at Moonlight howl rock and I went to go see what was wrong, and apparently I took a left turn instead of a right and here I am...Oh yeah, and of course my 食物 gets stolen 由 my old man." I explained, "I didn't realize I would find something that I was looking for for almost all my life."

"Well here we are." Mother 说 smiling.

"By the way," I started, "I have to ask."

"What is it son?"

"What happened to 你 two?"

"You really want to know?" father asked.

"Yes please tell me!"

"Alright it started like this-

"It was four days after 你 were born and the valley was being taken 由 the northern pack. Which 由 the way is the strongest in Jasper so we didn't stand a chance. We started to fall back but they kept picking us off one 由 one from the trees. They would hide behind a 树 then jump out and take us like caribou. They had this one huge wolf. He was about the three of us times 4. He went after Kate. He got in a fighting stance and pounced at her, hitting her with her claw. I was infuriated, I jumped on his back, sinked my jaw into his throat, and broke it. I ran to Kate's aid but she was unconscious. I didn't know what to do, so what I did was drag her into the forest where there was a clearing. I brought her 食物 and kept her warm for 2 days before she finally woke up. We've been living off of rabbits ever since. I'm sure they sent a 搜索 party but we were almost always on the 移动 so there was no possible way of them finding us, so we just became lone wolves."

"Well it is getting late." I announced interrupting the story.

"Well me and Kate have a 巢穴, den, 书房 nearby. We can sleep there." Dad replied.

I grabbed the rabbit 由 the ear, nodded my head yes, and followed them to their den. It was about a mile hike from where we were to get to the den.

"Not bad not bad."

"Thanks now come in and lay down, we need some rest for tomorrow." Dad said.

"I 爱情 你 guys." I 说 laying down on the right of the den.

"I 爱情 你 too, Goodnight." They both replied.

"I 爱情 你 Humphrey." I heard mother say in a whisper. "I 爱情 你 too Kate." Dad replied.

With that we all fell asleep.

Meanwhile, back at the den.

"NO I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM!" Dane yelled at his brother. Who was starting to acknowledge the fact that Jason was gone.

"Where was the last place that we saw him 或者 knew he was headed?"

"The moonlight howl rock."

"Then that's where we are headed." Gavan 说 leading Dane out of the 巢穴, den, 书房 and headed into the valley. On their trip to the moonlight howl rock they stopped 由 their Aunt Lilly's.

"Hey Aunt Lilly!"

"In here darlings." She 说 as they started to enter the cave.

"Where's uncle Garth." Dane asked.

"Out hunting, why?"

"Well, Jason is missing, and so is Anna."

"What! Where! Why!" Lilly screamed as she started to faint. "Aunt Lilly? Aunt Lilly!" Gavan screamed catching her as she fell, "Dane go get grandmother, grandfather, anyone!"

Dane turned and took off for his grandparents den. He got there in record time because his adrenaline was running faster through his body then a kid that just finished a trash bag full of candybars. He turned into Kyrpto(Superman's dog...has all the same powers) as he was running.

"Just hang in there Aunt Lilly, I'm trying." Dane said. Dane finally reached the 巢穴, den, 书房 of his grandparents, but was stopped 由 something...His grandparents were romancing!
