I have one thought. That maybe she isn't goin against Stefan and plays nice for him because she is not worried about his influence at her. That he won't do anything that will change something in her? That could be good for Delena.

I know this would never happen because this song is to old not really known etc. But Lyrics makes me think about Delena and Elena feelings towards Damon and things that she should realize. It would be amazing to see something with wyrics like this played during heartbreaking Delena moment :)
