Also, did anyone notice that last night when Damon and Bonnie were communicating about Elena and the Klaus issue, for the first time, Damon gave Bonnie a choice? I feel like instead of just forcing her into it, Damon did give Bonnie a bit of a say and he let her make up her mind. Bonnie was willing to do whatever it took to protect Elena and D/B were on the same page because of it. I just felt like Damon is his true and best self when he is with Bonnie. To me, the Damon/Elena/Bonnie angle on the 显示 reminds me a bit of Clark/Lana/Lois on 超人前传 in the beginning. Clark was obsessed with Lana and being with her, the same way that Damon is obsessed with Elena and protecting her and only her. But Lois was Clark's destiny yet he didn't realize it because of his obsession with Lana. This to me, mirrors Damon and Bonnie. I'm not really sure why so many people are freaked out about Damon's last line at the end. We should all know 由 now that Damon is mostly all bark and no bite.
