You might miss something interesting. ;) You'll miss all the people in school once it gets further into the summer... in my experience, not much gets done in the last few weeks anyway, so it's basically just hanging out with your friends. Then again, that was my experience...

I agree. As boring as it may seem to be, something interesting always happens when you're not there. Plus, you're just basically hanging out with your friends. After all, what are you going to do alone at home? Might as well just show up at school and spend some time with friends :)

You shouldn't if you're in Junior or Leaving Cert (3rd or 5th year) the rest are fine.

If you're school is anything like mine the leaving cert's last day is brilliant. It's a tradition to play a prank. This year they did a full monty two floors up on the roof. I still can't believe that my principal allowed it, he's a priest. It used to be on Youube but I think that they took it off =[

And anyway you'll probably not be doing any work.

Oh, if you're not in high school yet (I say secondary school) there's no need to do any work, nothing that important.

well if you really intend on leaving school (and thats entirerly you choice) then you should get a proper job, mayby not full time straight away just ease into it a little better and then when your rich all your friends will be like, "urgh i wish i left school and got a job!"
but if you dont get a job and you do leave i dont think you parents/gaurdian will be impressed with you lounging around the house all day!! ♥

so if you leave, get a job!

I am a terrible person, but as an English major, one can understand what my main pet peeve is.

I want to make it clear that this is kind of a joke. I don't mean to make you feel bad (hence the "love you" part of the option).

But I do think that school, even and especially the last weeks of term, is very important.
