How do I like 或者 reply to a 评论 now?

With every video on the new YouTube, most of the 评论 have no buttons to like them 或者 reply to them. There are a lot that I really want to like 或者 reply to but there seems to be no way now.

That does seem like the only way. I don't think it actually alerts them though.

Same here with me, I will admit, I do not like the decision of the Google+ connection to YouTube in order to 评论 on 视频 because 你 can't reply to legacy 评论 and 你 also can't up vote 或者 down vote any of them either and that sucks, I have this problem too! XP
The only thing I like about this decision is that I can type as many character letters than before. :)
