矢追 Article: Yaoi: Misunderstood?

What do 你 think when 你 hear the word "yaoi?" Do 你 even know what's yaoi? Well, for those who don't, here's a simple definition: it's boys love. Yes, boys love.
Many people discriminate this as "disgusting" 或者 "revolting", but then again that is what the term "fujoshi" means: a rotten woman. Anyways, back to he point!
矢追 has been aound for some time, getting publicity from mostly 粉丝 girls and some boys. People will usually think "Why like yaoi?" 或者 even just eliminate the idea that they will ever like yaoi. But actually, 矢追 is just 更多 than 图片展示 two boys. When 你 really think about it, 矢追 is 展示 the freedom of love, setting an example that 爱情 has no boundaries. In most cases, 爱情 with two of the same gender is weird, abnormal, discriminating, and some even believe it's crazy. But it's actually nice to know that there's people out there who don't follow the rules of just making straight couples, which most mangas and animes do.
How many animes/mangas can 你 name with 矢追 couples? How many can 你 name with straight couples? Can 你 see a difference?
Just like yaoi, there's also girls love, 或者 yuri. This is 更多流行的 with males, but also females. When 你 think of a male liking yaoi, 或者 a female liking yuri, 你 probably would believe they're gay 或者 lesbain. Surprisingly, there is people out there who are straight and watch 日本漫画或者日本动漫 with couples of the same gender.
So why do people still discriminate 或者 talk about those who like 矢追 and 矢追 itself?
They just don't see eye-to-eye like others. Yes, there will be people who will go against many things, but it's better if they are left alone.
My point is, there is nothing wrong about liking 矢追或者 for people liking yaoi. People who are anti-yaoi, accept it. People who like yaoi, keep doing your thing. So don't let anyone ruin your fun and happiness, your fangirl squeals, loving the fanservice, whatever 你 like, enjoy it. We live in a judgemental world with judgemental people, but that's doesn't mean 你 gotta be one.
So go out there and read your yaoi! We'll be right behind you, doing the same exact thing my friend.

XxAmaya-chanxX I second this. ^^ People should be able to like what they want, regardless of what gender/sexuality they are. People shouldn't be discriminated on because they like yaoi. Like mitsukunisan said, people are so closed-minded, they don't listen. YAOI FTW!!

amreader33 Love this(: I'm straight as an arrow and I love yaoi♥ as well as boy x girl couples. As true as I think your article is, I can't help but admit that we DO live in a judgemental world where a lot of people can't accept things they don't agree with, so even if everyone read this, many probably wouldn't change their minds about yaoi lovers. So thanks for the artical, and I really wish a piece like this could change peoples minds, but I personally think that if I were to show this to my friends or family, they wouldn't get it.
