What it really came down to was budget.If they had a bigger budget I think the effects and so on would be 10 times better and Hardwick could have done what I think she wanted to do.

Agree... Effects could have been done better. But even tough the book is 1000 times better I liked the movie and hope that Chris Weitz will do even better job :DD

Well, yes and no.
The movie did have a REALLY low budget and was meant to be an indie film. AND they weren't given a whole lot of time to put everything they wanted together.
I love the movie. It had all the important parts that were essential to make sense.
That answers nadjaaa about the effects though. LOW BUDGET!!!
And of course. DUH. Movies are never as good as the books.

Making a book into a move is a pretty tough job. You have to admire what a great job they did - and Stephenie Meyer liked it, so it must of been just how she wanted us to see it.

^^^^^ I 100 % agree with above Making a book in a movie is hard work.you have to alteast admire what they did,it takes hard work to create a movie like twilight,I THINK the people who wanted it to be EXACTLY like the book wanted to be let down,because not everyone is perfect,and not all movies can be made "perfectly" mostly the movies that were created after books.because it's as I said before hard work.not everything can be "picture perfect" but it was still great,because YOU can not expect them to use the book as a script give them a break seriously guys,it wouldn't be as interesting,if it was exactly the same as the book.
