At first I had thought I had died. The blackness I had so helplessly succumbed was a relief to me. The pain left my arm and I didn’t feel so drained of energy. I actually felt slightly happy that I wasn’t awake anymore. I couldn’t hear anything, see anything 或者 feel anything and it didn’t worry me. It was peaceful. 嘿 guys.
This is a short piece that I wrote for the contest, but apparently it's not going to be happening, so I decided to post it anyways.

I'm sure I could have expanded it, but I was trying to stay in the 1500 word limit, and I think I like it better this way.

Bella - Her Fear of Aging?

We know how Bella has some serious issues about aging because each 年 she ages, she becomes one 年 “older” than Edward. Her fear of aging is borderline neurotic, but it all seems to stem from not wanting to appear older than Edward. I’d always had a hard time understanding this – after all, Edward is well over 100 years old – he just doesn’t look it. And I always thought “So what if Bella becomes a few years ‘older’ than Edward in appearance? No one’s going to be able to tell!” But I suppose it’s a big deal to Bella. To this day, I don’t understand that fear.......

Names from Stephanie Meyer’s series of vampire novels and their hit film spin-offs sank their teeth into the 列表 of most 流行的 baby names this year, with Jacob and Isabella (the long form of Bella, Meyer’s heroine) topping the respective lists for boys and girls, and Cullen rising faster than any other boy’s name.

While Jacob held sway for the 11th consecutive 年 as the most 流行的 baby boy name in the U.S., Isabella edged out last year’s most 流行的 girl name, Emma, in the 列表 compiled annually 由 the Social Security Administration.

The list, released Friday, showed some movement from the 2008 list: Jayden and Noah climbed into the 最佳, 返回页首 10 for boy names, while Mia made a bow in the girl 最佳, 返回页首 10 list.
