Chapter Four

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT EDWARD AND BELLA USUALLY SPEAK IN THEIR HEADS UNLESS IT SAYS SO

That evening we went out to look for houses (this meant running around and looking for the nicest one). I found this funny.
We couldn’t stay here because there was a risk of someone recognising me. So Carlisle wanted to buy a house in Australia. But Esme had other ideas. She loved renovating houses and wanted to buy a house for her and Carlisle, Emmett and Rosalie, Jasper and Alice and Edward and me.
“Four houses that’s going to cost a fortune!”
“Not when 你 have been saving up 300 years like Carlisle.”
“W-O-W, again”
    Emmett saw my facial expression change. He moaned.
“Them guys can talk about ANYTHING in their heads and we cant hear them, its so unfair.”
“Life’s unfair baby” Edward and I chuckled with each other and Emmett cracked.
“WHAT DID 你 JUST SAY EDWARD?” Emmett shouted.
“Life is unfair” Edward replied smoothly. Emmett growled.
“Temper, Temper”
Edward let out a booming laugh.
    When Edward and I went on our hunting trip he showed me how to block out peoples minds. 你 just have to concentrate. In the end I got it, just.
    Emmett was getting really frustrated now. “Guys please tell me” He pleaded. But me and Edward weren’t budging.
“It’s none of your business Emmett!” Alice shouted.
“I think we need to go home.” Jasper murmured.
“I think that sounds like a good idea” Esme said.
    When we got 首页 me, Edward, Emmett, Alice, Rosealie and Jasper started to watch TV.
“What do 你 do around here if 你 never sleep?” I whispered onto Edward’s chest.
“Hunt, watch TV, we try to do stuff humans do so we can fit in more, we go shopping to the mall.”
“Doesn’t it get boring after a while?”
“Yes, but we try to do lots of things, for instance we are going up to visit another family like ours in the north the 日 after tomorrow.” I sat upright, in a movement that was inhumanly quick.
“When, were 你 going to tell me this?” I glared at him.
“Oooooh what 你 done now Eddie?” Emmett laughed with Jasper.
“Lets get away from here Bella. Follow me.”
He was suddenly on his feet dragging me along, I could hear Emmett and Jasper laughing their deafening laughs.
We went to the meadow, and lay down 下一个 to each other.
“Edward, how old are you?”
“I was born on August 2nd 1901 in Chicago.”

“So, who are these people up north? They sound interesting.”
“Yeah…they are ‘vegetarian’ 吸血鬼 as well, except we might go postpone the visit to them now that 你 are here. I think Carlisle wants 你 to settle down first”
Suddenly his phone went off. Ring Ring. He picked it up and started murmuring, but I wasn’t paying attention. I was in my own 幻想 world with Edward.
    When Edward Finally got off the phone, which let me tell 你 was a while later, he had a sour, angry expression on his face.
“What?”
“Alice has seen something, and its not good. An old friend of mine wants to come visit us. Lets just say that’s she is not to pleased about 你 and me…” Edward looked guilty.
“That can’t be that bad, can it?” I looked up at him worried now. What could possibly be the worst that could happen? I was immortal and my skin was impenetrable.
“There are bad things 你 don’t know about me Bella. Alice, sees 你 leaving because of one of the things Sara says. I can’t say I would blame 你 for it either, but I 爱情 you. Just remember that.”
“When is she arriving?” I murmured into his ear.
“Tomorrow”
