Chapter One:
~Long ago…~
Twins were born into the Cullen family. Vampire hybrid twins. Lexy and Renesmee Cullen. They were both imprinted on. Renesmee 由 Jacob Black. Lexy 由 Seth Clearwater. They were both werewolves.
Lexy’s P.O.V:
I sat on the stump in the backyard and listened to my I pod as I heard mom and dad talking intently on Ren’s wedding plans. I felt the puke rushing up my throat again. I ran over to the fence and vomited outside the fence again. I felt something warm rubbing my back, Seth. Seth rubbed my back as red and brown contents poured out of my mouth-again. The sickness was getting worse. I got sick almost every morning. After I was done with that I sat down on the ground 下一个 to Seth and cried. He hugged me and kissed my forehead but nothing made me feel better. The tears strolled down my face. I saw out of the corner of my eye dad sitting on the couch-stressed. I looked over at Seth. He looked at me his expression troubled and worried. “I 爱情 you.” I said. He nudged me. “I 爱情 你 too, Lex.” I smiled. “Thank you…for…everything.” He laughed, “Thank you, Lexy.” I shrugged. He slid his arm around my waist and pulled me close to his fiery chest. I shut my ipod的, ipod down and kissed his lips. He kissed mine back. I thought about us for a minute. I was the imprintee and he was the imprinter. I had a choice-but I didn’t need one. I had him. And I always would. I scrambled to my feet and abruptly, he followed. I went across the lawn and into the house-he followed. Suddenly the vomit rose up my throat again and soon the contents were spilling again. Except this time it was all over the golden carpet. “SHIT!” my dad yelled and went upstairs to grab a bucket. When he came down I was sitting 交叉, 十字架 legged on the floor besides the vomit 下一个 to my mother and Seth who were holding my cool hands. My mom was rubbing my back and Seth was squeezing my hand. I jumped up and walked into the 厨房 where they kept that crap 你 put on the carpet when your dog pisses on it 或者 你 had a drunken night and 你 threw up 或者 even if 你 were drinking wine while jumping up and down. That kind of shit. I dumped some of the white powdery stuff on the 金牌 carpet and grabbed a paper towel from the racquet that was beside me. My dad was now on the 长椅, 沙发 with the bucket in hand in case I got sick again. He was looking at me thoughtfully and father-like. Even though looking at us 你 would have thought we were twins…we’re like two peas in a pod. Mom and me are the over cooked potatoes everyone throws out because we’re different. We act different when we are around each other. It’s like gravity and space-they don’t really mix. My dad jumped off the 长椅, 沙发 and swiftly picked me up, “Honey, what’s wrong with you?” I shrugged, “I don’t know.” He sat me down 下一个 to him and sent me a mortal message.
你 see, Dad, Renesmee, Mom and I are talented vampires. We all have amazing skills. Renesmee’s is she can tell 你 what she’s thinking every time she touches you. Dad’s power is mind reading. 你 think-he reads. My talent (s); I have two; are 1st I can send mortal messages back and forth to 你 such as texting. My 2nd power is I can control 火, 消防 and ice. I can make 火, 消防 die down 或者 light up, and I can make ice do practically anything. Mom’s power is she can control elements. Such as weather. ‘Sweetie, when did 你 last get your period?’ I blushed and sent another message, ‘Last month-the 5th.’ His eyes looked glassy golden. ‘When do usually get your period?’ ‘The 5th. Sometimes the 10th 或者 so-never after the 10th.’ It was the 20th. Seth was looking at me-his eyes just small slits. Dad got up off the 长椅, 沙发 and snatched me up into my room. It was 粉, 粉色 with 橙子, 橙色 dots scattered everywhere on the walls. There are many framed pictures on the wall: Seth and I, Renesmee and I, Jake and I, Dad and I-especially. I was always dad’s 最喜爱的 由 just a little. He named me. Lexy was easy so that’s what he named me. Lexy Angela Cullen. Dad took me into the bathroom grabbed one of my 西瓜 stamped tablets. On it in elegant script he wrote: When did 你 have sex? I looked up at him, mortified. I wrote on the tablet: Umm, the 2nd. His fist clenched as he reached for the pen: Are 你 on birth control? Did 你 use the right size condom, did it break? My face was beading with sweat: I just switched my birth control and my condom broke. My dad looked up and grabbed my arm, “Shit, Lexy!” He jumped out my window with me on his back. Five 分钟 later we were at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Dad walked in with me on his hip. “Carlisle I need 你 to check Lex out.”
