Bella's pov

We arrived at school and I was 20 分钟 to early. I grabbed my bag and 图书 and looked at Mason.
“come on, your not staying in the car alone, specially not when it’s dark” I 说 to him.
We walked out of the car and Mason came towards me. I grabbed his hand with my one free hand and we walked into the school building.
We took place at a bench and I started searching for my cell phone in my bag.
“Mommie, please don’t call daddy” he started begging to me again.
“Mason, your dad could be worried sick 由 know. Alice can’t see you, remember. I’m just going to call him and tell 你 that 你 are here with me, okay” I 说 strong.

I picked up my phone and dialled Edward’s phone number. After ringing just 3 times I heard Edward on the phone
“Bella, Bella, my love, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I …” he started apologizing to me before I interrupted him.
“It’s okay, I understand. I’m just calling to say that Mason is here with me” I 说 slowly to Edward. I wasn’t really planning to apologize to him, because it wasn’t my fault this time.
“Good, I was getting worried. I’ll come to pick him up, be there in an hour” he 说 back with a sweet and soft voice.
“Okay. I have a first break from class in an 小时 anyway” I 说 back. “Are 你 still planning to go to Italy, later”
“I have to Bella, it was an agreement” he 说 upset and gently. I turned myself towards Mason.
He just looked at me. I knew he saw it on my face what Edward was saying to me because he started running away of course with human steps. He knew he wasn’t aloud to run so fast around humans.
“Mason,….mason” I yelled at him but he didn’t stop running. Out of reaction I closed my phone and ran after Mason with bigger steps then he did.
I grabbed him tight and turned him towards me.
“Mason, don’t 你 ever run away from me” I 说 upset and angry.
“I don’t wanna go, I don’t wanna go to Italy” he started crying again.
“Look at me” I 说 fast. “Look… at…. me” I 说 it slowly now.
He gently lifted his head towards me.

“What if I go too, with 你 and your dad to Italy” I asked him friendly. I didn’t wanted to go but I needed to say something to reassure him.
“Would 你 do that for me, Mommie” he 说 surprised but still sobbing a little.
“Of course I would do that for you, you’re my son. It’s my job to protect you. So it’s a stupid question” I 说 back motherly and I gave him a hug.
“Come on, I’m going to be late for class” I 说 in a hurry and grabbed his hand and walked towards science class.
“Mommie, is daddy coming then” he asked me while we walked towards class.
“yes he’s going to be here in an 小时 或者 so” I 说 friendly back.

“Bella, Bella” I heard someone yelling from behind me. I turned myself and saw Cedriq running towards me.
“Hey Cedriq” I 说 friendly
“hey Bella, do 你 have the rabbit blood” he asked friendly and with a smile.
“Yes, I have it” I 说 back with a smile too. I could feel Mason squeezing my hand now, so I looked at him.
“Who is this little guy” Cedriq asked friendly while he was looking at Mason.
“This is my son Mason” I answered back “he’s staying with us for today, if 你 don’t mind”
“Of course not” Cedriq 说 friendly.
All 3 of us walked into the class. I’m just glad the teacher didn’t say anything, about Mason in the room. I didn’t felt like explaining this.
