I rushed into my apartment and took a nice hot 淋浴 to relax. I had to be careful though because I didn't want to get my cast wet. Then I got out and I had to get the perfect outfit for my 日期 tonight. It had been a long time since I'd thought 或者 说 that word. Date.
I put on a dress I designed and put together myself back in high school, which still fit. It was mid-thy length with a 领, 衣领 that shaped the breasts and 2 意大利面 straps on both sides. It was deep violet. I also put on silver strappy high heels. I put some diamonds on, they were my grandmother's. I grabbed my silver clutch 钱包 and put my wallet in it. Then I grabbed my black 夹克 and put it around my shoulders as I put some make-up on.
I looked at the clock and realized I was going to be late if I didn't get moving and put my keys in my clutch and practically ran out the door. At least I wasn't doplic, so I could run in heels if I needed 或者 wanted to. I walked quickly down the street.
The 吊绳, 吊索 rubbing against my neck. I soon spotted the restaurant and walked a little bit slower so I wouldn't look flushed.
Then I saw him, the angel. He looked so dashing in the black suit he wore. The contrast of the black against his alabaster skin was beautiful, it made his color even better. I felt my lips pull up in joy as I realized that he was mine, even if it was just as a body guard.
"Hi Edward,"I 说 as soon as I stood in front of him.
"Hello, Liz, I'm so glad 你 agreed to this."
"Me too. To tell 你 the truth, I couldn't wait, I just couldn't. For some reason, I feel like I'm drawn to you."
Wow. I breathed out in a gush, I hadn't realized I'd been holding it.
"I feel exactly the same way about you."
There's just something about you, I can't put my finger on it, but he's just too perfect to be human. He's too sweet and nice and honest. He seems just as shy as I am. I can't believe he feels the same way about me, that I feel about him.
"Shall we eat?"
We entered the restaurant and waited to be seated.
"Table for 2,"Edward told the maiter'd.
"Right away, sir."
He led us to a booth.
"So, what CD do 你 have in your CD player right now,"Edward asked.
"Um...,"I had to think,"I think I have a 林肯 Park CD in there."
"Me too. Wow, that's weird."
"My turn to ask 你 a question, what book are 你 currently reading?"
"Actually, I'm not 阅读 a book, but the last book I read was Dracula, 由 Bram Stoker."
I felt my eyes widen in surprise.
"Oh my gosh, I'm 阅读 that book right now. What did 你 think of it?"
"I think that not all 吸血鬼 would be horrible like Dracula, some could be good, and I don't really believe they sleep in coffins, I don't think they sleep at all. I think it would be possible for them to drink animal blood instead of human blood if they wanted to."
I stared at him for a moment.
"Wow, you're really opinionated."
"A little bit."
Wow, I repeated in my mind, I can't believe he's so much like me. In certain ways. Vampires. He could be a vampire, he's so beautiful, but why would he take me to 晚餐 if he was a vampire? 吸血鬼 don't eat human food. But his skin is so pale, I just want to feel his skin.
"Hello, my name is Melanie Reed, and I will be your waitress for tonight. Would 你 like to order now,"said a blond with big, green eyes. Overall, she was very pretty, but Edward didn't even look at her.
"Sure, what would 你 like,"Edward asked me.
"Um,"I glanced down at the menu as quickly as possible and picked two things I've never had before.
"I'll have the 5 Spice 洋葱 汤 and the Sesame Braised Chicken and Cabbage, for my drink, I'll have Root Beer,"my 最喜爱的 drink I told Melanie.
"I'll have a Root 啤酒 also with a 12 oz. steak, rare."
"I'll be right back with your order,"she replied winking at Edward, but he wasn't paying attention to her.
Rare? Maybe he is a vampire, I thought. That would be cool.
"You sound like a vampire,"I blurted.
He laughed. Oh, his laugh! It was beautiful.
"Maybe I am. Would that scare you?
"No, I actually like vampires, I've never met a real one though. I'd like to."
"If I was a vampire, would 你 still like me,"he asked staring down at the table.
"Yes, I would,"I 说 as confidently as I could manage,"Are 你 a vampire?"
"I might be, if 你 do something for me, I can 显示 你 sometime if I am a vampire."
"Okay, what do I have to do?"
"You have to 移动 to Forks, Washington with me, in about a week. So you'll have time to pack."
"Well I've never been outside of New York City, but I guess I'll go."
Then our 食物 got to the 表 and we enjoyed a delicious meal. Edward gave me his Root Beer.
