Yes. I do. The bottom line is: The actors are NOT the characters.

And, I may be in the minority on Fanpop, but alot of the characters are 迷失 in the movie translations. I'm pretty sure I sound like a broken record, but the movie screenplays fail to 显示 who Jacob really is and who Edward really is. Jacob is not always the nice, always-getting-screwed-over-kid. And Edward is not always the no-fun boyfriend. The characters we 爱情 from the 图书 have not been translated very well to screen.

And that saddens me. One: Because that's how it all started. It started with a dream, and it started with love. It started with Bella and Edward. No hot guys, no abs, just who they were on the page. And now it's ruined 由 the media and the fangirls and society. And two: the movies/books are moneymakers. Not because of the story, which was how it's popularity originated, but it's because of the constant advertising of eye-candy and the ridiculous merchandise.

Twilight used to be loved. Not loved as in popular, but loved as in respected. The story was respected and the characters were respected. Now it's all about who has the best skin tone, 或者 who has the most abs. It was never about that. Twilight has 迷失 the soul it once had. And that's a shame. Maybe once all the 电影院 are done, it will return that way. But it's sad that people make the judgments of who is the best based on who has the better body. Are people all that shallow? What about inner beauty? What about beauty lies in your heart? People don't think that way anymore because society twists and manipulates. Once again, it's a shame.

i fell the same. I don't 爱情 Jacob cause Taylor's body but Jacob's personality and his feeling like in Breaking Dawn. Im not saying I think Taylor is ugly 或者 something but thats not the MAIN reason why i like Jacob

Same here. In the books, I'm pretty sure Edward and Jacob have hot bodies but I'm pretty sure they're talking about Rob and Taylor.

yes, i agree. i mean there ACTORS, there not the actual character. im team edward but i like Taylor Lautner better then Robert Pattinson. and that shouldn't be weird cause Rob isn't ACTUALLY edward.

Actually, I was talking about this with my friend, and I realized something. (God Rob pleeze forgive me) Robert Pattinson doesn't really look as Bella describes Edward to be. It's just... kinda weird.
