I personally haven't read it and don't intend to.. I mean it's about aliens 或者 something and that isn't my thing.. But I think 你 should read it regardless of what anyone says, I mean everyone's taste is different and if 你 think it would be something you'd enjoy go for it.

Oh believe me, I was never a 粉丝 of aliens and things like that. And the book is Sci-Fi for people who don't like Sci-Fi. And I don't really like Sci-Fi, but the book is absolutely AMAZING! 你 might not get the first few chapters of the book, but I'll explain: There are 'souls' invading the Earth, and almost everybody on Earth is a Host for a soul. But a human female named Melanie is strong enough to be able to still stay a live (what I mean 由 that is she is still able to connect with her mind; most humans die right when a soul is put in their body) and Wanda (the soul that was put in Melanie's body) talks to her and gets to know her through the mind. ~End of description. But I want 你 to know two 更多 things: 1- The person who is the first person of the story (meaning who tells the story; whose point of view the story is in) is through Wanda, the soul. 2- Don't worry, there is Romance in the story :3 It just won't get there as fast as Twilight will.
YES!YES!YES! "The Host" is one of the best 图书 i have even read! It is a masterpiece! Sometimes i think i like it 更多 than Twilight! 你 should really read it! Everyone should. It's a great 爱情 story and not only that. I never thought i could ever 爱情 a book about alliens and souls but Stephenie has this talend...she always surprises me. Just like Twilight and 吸血鬼 she made me 爱情 The Host and the alliens! :)
The host and twilight are awesome in their own ways. I'm 阅读 the host right now. I havent even finished 3 chapters but i already 爱情 it. 你 should give it a try! :)
