Does anyone else think that new moon is a kind of pointless book? (i still luv it but.....) In the start Edward and Bella are together and in the end they are together,all that really changes is bella finds out about the wolves.
I know what 你 mean, I thought the same thing for a while but I think that there needed to be a book about just Bella and Jacob so that 你 could see there relationship develop. In Twilight they don't really know each other that well and the chemistry isn't really there. so They couldn't have really skipped straight to Eclipse because when 你 see how much they care about Each other it wouldn't really make sense if there wasn't New Moon. I totally agree with you. This book was needed all though it seemed to be the slowest and least 最喜爱的 of mine from the series. I still can not wait to see New Moon
New Moon isn't pointless because, when 你 think about, everything that happened was inevitable. Edward was always going to leave her at some point because someone would loose control. If it didn't happen then, it would eventually. It's just a given. Bella and Edward wouldn't be so sure and absolute about their 爱情 或者 the other's 爱情 if they hadn't had to live that time separated. Edward would always be his pessimistic self, thinking that he was no good for Bella and that she would be better off without him which is proven to be wrong in New Moon. Everything that happened in the last two 图书 couldn't have happened if the events of New Moon didn't occur. And besides, even if it did had no point, it's still my 秒 favourite of the series :)
Let me just get this straight before I begin - the 更多 图书 in the Twilight series the better, and I am very glad for the book. 更多 Edward and Bella. No, screw Bella - 更多 Edward. Even if it is just a small amount.
But I understand where 你 are coming from, about nothing really happening apart from her finding out about the werewolves.
I think when Stephanie Meyer decided to give up on Forever Dawn and make the series out into a few 更多 books, she realized that it had to happen. It was always deep rooted in Edwards... personality, to have the guilt at putting her in danger over come him and he would leave her. She had to get it out of the way, and I think they went through a lot together and came out stronger.
But you're right - they sort of went in a circle.

I agree with your 评论 as well. I know from personal experience sometimes controversy and seperation can make a relationship stronger. It is a true test of the value 你 hold in a relationship if 你 do at all.

Not at all. It develops Bella and Jacob's friendship, and proved what life is like when Edward and Bella are apart. I think it is a crucial part of the story.
Well, a couple of times in Eclipse Bella says that now she knows that she can't live without Edward... And this knowledge came from New Moon...

I think this is a good example that New Moon is important, because is not for New Moon, it would be much 更多 harder for Bella to choose between Edward and Jacob...
i think that the book is needed because 你 get to understand bella and jacob's relationship 更多 and that how edward feels about bella and their relationship

it was rather boring that I admit cause the best thing about the whole Twilight saga - beside Bella & Edward, are the Cullens and there was very little of them there. and I coulndt care less about the wolves
to me, the purpose of NM was for Edward and Bella to realize how much the other actually loves them. the rest I would have happily live without
