What do 你 prefer? read the book first then watch the movie, 或者 watch the movie first then read the book? why?

I prefer to read then watch, but the way I've done it was watch then read. But still read then watch. And honestly I chose that because people should read 更多 then watch. Plus, read it before so 你 have an idwa about the movie.;-)
