I love both, but BtVS is my fave show and Xander/Anya were my 3rd fave couple. Damn you Joss Whedon and your annoyingness that is the destruction of happy relationships!

Not trying to start anything, I'm just genuinely curious as to what you mean by that??

I'm only about half-way through S5 of BTVS, but so far Xander & Anya seem to be a pretty solid couple. I mean they technically started at the end of S3, and now midway through S5 they are still together... And i know that they eventually almost get married.

I know Cory/Topanga were in it for the long hull, but that doesn't discredit Xander/Anya as a meaningful relationship right??
