    I nervously wrung my hands as Alex continued to tell us what happened, I wanted to ask questions, make suggestions, but I couldn’t trust myself to that. The last time I suggested something I almost killed Iris and made her hate us all, I didn’t sure didn’t want a repeat.
    “She 说 it English!” Stilere yelled excitedly. “How awesome is that!”
    Brooklyn nodded like a scolded puppy, and risked a glance at Iris, who smiled at her. “Cool.”
    “Yeah, it was, amazingly awesome!” Iris smiled, “I hope we didn’t attract attention.”
    I nod quickly, my movements quick, I knew I was being a bit absurd, but I wasn’t risking it. Iris turned to me. “What do 你 think Terry?”
    My eyes widened, but I quickly smiled. “Sounds awesome! I do hope we learn more!”
    Darren winced at my dorkiness, while Alex and Stilere shared a laugh. Iris nodded, looking thoughtful. “Me too.”
    I mentally breathed a sigh of relief, and the other’s quickly continued the conversation. I can tell I wasn’t the only one skipping stones, most of us were very careful in what we said, I saw Mikey wince when he 说 something that didn’t mean to offend Iris, but it was still mean, but Iris didn’t even blink at it.
    Iris sighed. “Gosh! 你 guys are so annoying! I’m not going to bite unless I have a good reason, stop 表演 like I’m a lethal 皇后乐队 that’s not afraid to give out punishments!”
    I cringed. “But…you were angry, I’m…I’m sorry! I d-didn’t mean t-to-”
    Curse my stupid stuttering!
    Iris put a hand on my shoulder. “It’s okay, Terry, I get it. I forgive you.”
    I look at her with hopeful eyes, “really? Like…your not angry at me?”
    Iris laughed. “No…I’m not.”
    “You hesitated!” Zaria pointed at her.
    Iris narrowed her eyes. “Huh?…”
    “You 说 no, PAUSE, I’m not.”
    Iris rolled her eyes, “I was laughing! I forgive 你 guys! Yes 你 guys were totally wrong…and I right,” I could see Alex roll his eyes. “But I forgive 你 guys, 你 didn’t know any better, but…don’t be so mean and annoying, and commanding, and rude like 你 were last time.”
    I nodded violently. “All negative traits are now dissembled.”
    Iris smiled at me. “Thank you, Terry.” She paused. “And…I’m…I’m sorry for overreacting… just a bit, I was so angry at 你 guys…that I used that as an excuse to be 更多 steamed at 你 guys. 你 tried to help, and I batted 你 away. 你 guys didn’t deserve that.”
    “No,” I said. “I’m sorry, I should’ve known that place would be crawling with…it’s. I shouldn’t have snapped at you, I was just…on edge.”
    “We were all on edge,” Alex corrects. “We all overreacted, and were all sorry for being doo doo heads.”
    Iris laughed. “Yes, you’re my doo doo heads.”
    We all laughed and hugged, and I wondered if I should be embarrassed to be proud of that.

Hi, my name is Jonas. I'm thirteen. I'm...well, not what 你 would consider normal.
I have twenty pairs of X-His from the 匡威 store 下一个 door, all pink. Okay, okay, see? I'm not normal. And that's not the end of it.
I have thirty T-shirts that say 羊吸血鬼 Rock on them. Yeah, I 爱情 the horror movie "Sheep Vampires." It's filled with 羊 that get tortured and wake up at midnight only to turn into 羊吸血鬼 that suck the blood out of their shepherds. It's rated R, but my parents never notice. I bet they don't even know there's a rating system. Lucky for me.
So, this morning, I woke up, when my glass of 可乐 left from an 年以前 shimmered. A misty face appeared.
