Courtney was so shocked that she just sat down, I'm going crazy! She said. But that was when she heard police sirens. "I didn't do anything!" she heard a familar voice yell. "Me either!" another one yelled. "You 偷了 it, 你 know 你 did! give up now!". There was Duncan and Vanita running from the cops. That was when they got Vanita. "I DID-NOT steal ANYTHING!" he yelled. But they got him into the cop car. Duncan ran into the alley, then behind a dumpster. Courtney was now really starting to wonder if it was her, 或者 was her past boy friend right there. "Hey, you" 说 the officer, "You seen anyone around here?" "NO, no not at all, the streets are quiet!" 说 Courtney. "But, 你 do have my brother" 说 courtney. "We'll just be taking him down town so a real qaurdian can get him". The officer walked off. Duncan waited until he drove off, then stood up and ran over to Courtney. "Princess, your the greatest!" he said, "As soon as I saw Vanita, I knew that you'd be here!". Courtney hugged him. "Princess, I wanna give ya somthin, it's-". but that's when 2 different cop cars showed up. "Your under arrest for 商店 lifting" yelled the cop, he grabbed Duncan and cuffed him. "I swear to god, I didn't steal anything!" yelled Duncan.

They dragged him away, Courtney cold just stare, the cop cars oulled away, and She was alone again. She was just about to burst into tears, when she saw somehting laying on the ground. She walked over and picked it up. It was a locket shaped like a heart, ingraved in it was D+C forever and always. He must have dropped it. "This is what he wanted to give me, I wonder why he was arrested for 商店 lifting though, he had it ingraved, he would've had to pay for it before he had that done, that's ileagle!They're gonna put him behind bars for know reason what so ever!". "I'm gonna get 你 out, Duncan!".
