He laughs at his wife’s concern, and slightly adjusts their daughter in his lap for the sake of her comfort. “She’s not gonna fall, Ziva. Besides, she inherited your ninja balancing skills.”
The little girl squeaked as her fingers slammed on to the keys, and he cringed slightly at the off-putting noise, his wife laughing in his place. “And it seems she has inherited your 钢琴 playing skills.”
"Hey!" he quips. But before he can retort, the little girl starts jumping in his lap, slamming her hands down on the keys once more.
"Whoa, okay there," he says, gently putting his hands on her sides as he slides her back into his lap. "Settle down, munchkin. Daddy’s gonna 显示 你 how to play."
He lightly takes her hands in his and places them on the white keys in front of her. “You want your hands like this, alright? And then gently,” he says, as he moves his hands to the keys outside of her hands,” 你 push down.” He does, light tones blending together through the air.
The girl’s eyes widen, and she looks down, observing the white shapes that created such a beautiful sound before her. Gently, she presses down a key with her fingers, and the mellow note rings through the air. She does the same thing with her other hand, gently once again, and goes back an forth between the sides, watching the 音乐 come to life.
"There ya go," he says, his smile beaming. "That’s not so bad, is it?"
The little girl ignores his voice as she continues to be 迷失 in the 音乐 she creates over and over again.
He turns to her with a knowing look, nodding towards their daughter. “I think we got a little Mozart on our hands, sweetcheeks.”
She smiles wide as he turns back to their daughter, softly playing notes with her, and watches the 音乐 flow into their home, brightening the already beautiful day.
