History:
Present during the siege of Acre in 1291, Shaw was commended with heroism and bravery in the line of duty, when he saved a French noblemen; Dumas Châtillon and his family from the horde of Muslim warriors who took the city. As a Knight of the Templar Order, his charge of protecting a member of the Kingdom of Jerusalem's high court led to him being offered a role on the French King's Royal Guard.
