Caroline was putting on her dress when the door of her bedroom opened and Liz appeared. “Sweetie, there’s someone here for you” she 说 soft. Caroline, expecting it would be Tyler, nodded and said: “Okay, mom, 你 can let him in”
But it wasn’t Tyler, it was Damon. Caroline turned around annoyed. “You’re the last person I expected. What is that 你 want?” she asked a little hostile. She zipped the dress and turned around.
“I want to say I’m sorry” Damon said, reaching out his hands. “I was wrong keeping 你 away from Elena. You’re the best friend she has and I was selfish for 表演 out on you”
Caroline raised her eyebrows. “You know Bonnie is back, don’t you?” she checked to be sure.
“Yes” Damon nodded.
“Well, I would think that would make 你 grumpier than ever, but I guess you’ve made some progress” Caroline replied, a little less hostile.
“Bonnie helped me dealing with the past” Damon explained.
“And now you’re BFF’s?” Caroline asked sarcastic.
“No, not exactly” Damon laughed. “Caroline, I am really sorry for being such a major jackass. Can 你 please find the goodness in your 心 to forgive me?” he added with a smirk.
Caroline pursed her lips. “Hmm” she 说 doubtful. “You can start 由 taking me to the Homecoming dance. I doubt Tyler is going to step up and I can’t appear solo”
“Actually I’m going with Elena” Damon said.
“As if I didn’t know that” Caroline replied a little demeaning. “I’m sure Elena won’t mind sharing 你 with me for the first five 分钟 of the dance”
